Since the begging of TAO, the Frost Golem has been an essential in the formations made by the players of TAO. Even to this day, the Frost Golem is an actively used unit. I have always used a Frost Golem in my formations, even if I were to rush, freestyle of turtle. Today I will convince you as a member of the TAO community to also believe in the power that the mighty frost golem Bares.

Up there with the Cleric and the Stone Golem, the Frost Golem is a supreme addition to your arsenal. There are many various formations that can be made in the game from this one key unit. For example :

"The Distraction"

"Front Line fire power"

"Mighty"

"Shrubs 'r' Freeze"

In "The Distraction" the Frost Golem plays what is known as an "End-Game" role. This means that once all the main fighting has finished, and you start to retreat back towards your corner. The Frost Golem can suspend any units that try and attack by themselves. And, by using the Furgon to create shrubs, the Frost Golem has some easy cover for freezing non ranged units.

The Usefulness of a Furgon in battle is essential for a Frost Golem based formation. Here is an example of the deadly duo working together to defeat an enemy scout trying to kill the cleric.

Because the Frost Golem is behind the shrubs, it is impossible to shoot it, and break the focus. Without atleast wasting one turn. So, whilst this is happening, I would have used my lightning ward to take half of it's health, and then finished him with my dragon. If he had healed during this, a final guaranteed* shot would have kill him.

Again, the Frost Golem plays an important Role in the success of a good rush. After all the frontline units have did the most damage. The "End-Game" units, accompanied by the Frost Golem have an easy job. Here are a few examples :
