How do you make moving banners???....I feel like such a n00b posting this..but i must know!

I have no clue... :cool:

I use Macromedia Flash MX. Also with a little assistance from my other favorite program Adobe Photoshop.

Yea, I use Adobe... im just not sure how to make banners move..... :(

Do you intend on making "Fluffy" move? If so, then you don't need an animated banner.

I use Adobe Image ready, I want to learn how to use Flash MX but too lazy too learn. BTW nice banner APZ.

I thought about keeping all the colors behind the letters but it looks cooler fading in and out. I tried to keep the size down but eck. It's pushing 500 kb. That's not really what I wanted but oh well.

I'm decent with photoshop, and i have imageready..... but i dont know how to use image ready. I've jsut resorted to a gif makin program i found, but i would really like to learn how to use image ready.

On image ready, it's hard to do transitions and stuff, for that I use animationshop.

the only thing that is a pain is aligning things in each frame in photoshop. I was hoping image ready would have a way to do this easily, but i have yet to figure it out.

Remind me to change the option for viewing sigs when I'm on dialup at the beach. Sheesh...

Transitions? Like what? I find that Imageready does everything I need for animated GIFs. If you need motion graphics, then Flash is the way to go. GIFs are not really meant to be intricately animated movies, you know.

If you do your layout in Photoshop, this shouldn't be a problem. Tweening is the key to do all this. It's the icon that looks like a "bouncing" circle.
