How do you get new units?

HOw do you get new units? there was something about it in the newb introduction sticky post thingy, but i didnt understand it.

Well, since you supposedly read the Sticky, I'll help you.

You get the Dragonspeaker Mage, the Golems and the Beast units when you uprgrade your grey account to a gold account, for $5 a month.

You can get extra grey units (only certain types of units) by winning them in a "unit drop". Five times a day, at random intervals, red text will appear, saying:

If you are currently in battle, the winner will gain one <unit name goes here>!!!

If you win the battle, you will get the unit. If you lose or draw, you don't. If you aren't in a battle at all, you will be kicking yourself.
