what program is used to make animated gif's? i want to know for my banner.

there is no program already installed on windows machines that can animate, you can make frames individually using paint (or another drawing program) and get a free compiler off the internet, or you could download the free trial to some more advanced animation program such as Jasc Animation Shop 3(i think thats where they are)
