Have you ever entered a game hoping the other person doesn't get mad that you got good blocking? Well then, make sure you have a pre-game contract on hand:

Form 32-A
I, the undersigned, accept fully and wholly the impact of luck, specifically in the first turn and blocking aspects of the game, that are out of my control and my opponent's control. I also understand that blocking evens out over the long run, and one block will not affect the outcome of another block. Likewise, I understand that one hit will not affect the outcome of the next hit. With this understanding, I will not get mad nor blame luck for my loss if I lose a game, no matter the circumstances, unless said luck is also pointed out by your opponent to be the sole factor of loss.

Form 32-B
I, the undersigned, accept fully and wholly the possibility of me or my opponent getting disconnected. With this understanding, if I get disconnected I will not trash talk how well I was doing, and will offer a rematch/accept a rematch if it is deemed necessary (see below). In the event my opponent is disconnected, I will offer/accept a rematch if it is deemed necessary also. A rematch will be defined as a game in which two opponents play each other after a first game, with the intention of determining a new winner for said game. A rematch for a disconnection is necessary if it comes in the first 5 turns and no one is winning, or if the game is really close and no winner is determinable.

Form 33
I, the undersigned, accept fully and wholly that people are allowed to use whatever setup they want, and will not complain if I get slapped silly while turtling against a rush. I understand that it is my responsibility to create a working and viable setup against the whole field of TAO setups, and to not rely on my opponent understanding the so called "taboo" on rushing/bombing. I also accept that in the event the game is pre-arranged to use certain setups, I will, to the best of my knowledge, use a setup of the corresponding variety.

I'll sign. I just don't want anyone to cry when I beat them with the default noob setup. :)

although luck is out of either players control, it can still be the determining factor in a close game, hence i feel that the "blaming luck" clause (line 4 of form 32-A) should be removed.

It's one thing to lose to luck. It's a whole other thing to go around talking about it like it's president bush or something *sly political slam*

indeed but luck can be a perfectly feasible reason for the loss of said game, and hence that reasoning should not be denied to either player.

Alrighty, I think the new wording should satisfy you

Except for the post date... it's earlier than your attempt to copyright it, so even if you get it copyrighted I still have priority in court (if you don't copyright something it doesn't give someone else the right to copyright it)

im not sure if the same rules apply, but with a patent, one must prove that he has some form of relationship with what he is attempting to patent, and must give some basic design ideas to prove that it wasnt simply copied.

With copyrights you don't need any evidence, but if you have no evidence for creating the idea and someone else does, you're kind of screwed.

At least that's what I think... that's what I was able to extrapolate from when my sister copyrighted a CD she made.

In order to copyright an item (be it name, phrase, music or other) you must send in the copyright forms to the proper agency.

HOWEVER if you mail something to yourself, and do not open it, the date stamped in the envelope can be used to dispute anothers right to copyright the same object.

However, you can not copyright a publicly held idea or item.

And you should make ShadowMyst sign, he's always pissed off when he loses a match against people that are lucky.

I will be civil, and understanding to their feelings. This rule may be nullified upon whining or complaint in public of my opponent for the blocking in said game.
