TAO Character Battle Nominations!

I saw this on the GameFAQs web site and I got that feeling you get when you see a cool idea and you're planning to steal it. So here is how it works: we select characters from many video games, and then we set up a ladder. We then compare pairs of characters to see which one is more popular. The one that gets more votes advances, and then we proceed to the next pair. Now here is where the nifty part comes in.. everyone's votes are kept track of. When you vote for a winning character, you get a point. Everyone's points are kept track of until one of the characters wins the ladder.

For a character to participate, it must be nominated here. The nomination must be seconded by at least two people (don't specifically ask someone to second your nomination - if it can't cut it on it's own, it wont make it past the first round anyway). If you want to nominate a character that has the same name as a completely different character, or one that people may not recognize, specify the game they are from.

Each battle will last one week. The voting will be done by PM so that I can keep track of who voted for what and so that people can't see each other's votes. I retain the right not to count a vote that I believe came from a dummy account.

Hopefully I can coerce Julia into putting the ladder and scoreboard in a locked sticky somewhere.

Lloyd was never a divine dragoon...the dragoon sprit shone only at the last moment and never again in the hands of llyod...(man i wish we could have used him in batle...)

What I meant was Lloyd was the first one to use the Divine Spirit to transform. And I wish I could use him too.

Haha serge...so true...so true...I just beat the game...after having it for 1 1/2 week...man...this took a while...i usually beat games in less than 27 hours.........

Swartzstorm..what are you talking about still? Lloyd never transformed...he got the sprit...it glowed for a sec....stopped glowing...then he ran off with it...if it had worked...you would have fought him then and there prolly...or somwhere very close to that time...

Yes...albert was the strongest unless you get darts souleater (most powerful weapon) but it saps like 500 health every turn...u can prevent it though by using some sort of armor...forgot which...

Next I have to nominate Roy and Marth from SSBM2 (Super samsh brothers melee) that wsa my favorite game for 3 years... :)

Meh, by SSF2T I'd sort of switched to the SNK side of things. But Chun-Li was always my favorite of the Capcom fighting gals so I have to give her props. As for Ken vs. Ryu... no reason really, I just don't like Ken that much :p
