Banned?? Help mods...

I don't know what is going. I've emailed, tried to get a hold of someone, and none of it works.

I am posting this from a friends house because as far as i can tell i have been i.p. banned, by mistake or otherwise.

I didn't do anything wrong, I am a gold who is payed up monthly, I dont spam, i dont cheat. I'm hoping this is an accident.

Whenever i try to log into either www.tacticsarena.com or the game itself, i get a screen that says

Forbidden: i do not have permission to access this website.

i never changed any security measures recently, i'm able to log into the legends server fine. So, if DR or a mod can tell me why, if i am, banned. that would be great. Maybe it's a problem on my end, i doubt it though.

The same thing happened to my friend Orthodox a long time ago. I'm not sure if he had a ban on him, or it was issues with his computer, but then one day everything worked for him again. He couldn't access the forum, or the main page either. This guy is uber mature too, so the idea of him having an IP ban made zero sense to me. I've done more to get banned on my best day than he did on his worst day, so I always suspected it was an issue on his end.

Seriously though, if someone else was banned in your area, it can affect you. Addresses are generally rotated. So a banned address for someone else can end up being passed to you.

Swiftness...sorry that you couldnt get on tao game. Must be something wrong with your comp. I have the same issue with legends. I've been banned from legends for some reason. Although I havent tried getting on with diffrent computer.

Thanks guys. And I just realized today that i can access the forums using a proxy, So this makes me think it has something to do with the ip address.
I still haven't found one that works for the game, just the forum though.

Maybe you should email DR your IP and ask it be removed from any ban listings?? Sounds like a site ban to me.

And I doubt it was directed at you. You prolly just happened to be using an IP block some spammer had.

It's definetely not directed at me. This i know from emailing him, I sent him my ip a while ago, just waiting on a reply =)

Hey swift...I think I know a way you can get onto tao game...go to Jeffery's website, www.tacticsfan.com (Im soo grateful that he made it cuz that site is the only way i can get onto tao game at school) and go to Damge Calcutator or something like that. I think you should be able get onto tao. My school had the internest company to block all of the games on the internet. Jeffery's site and digisonline site were the only ones that didnt get blocked. Hopefully you can get on.

bumpity bump. DR couldnt figure this out, but Bills, you seem to have more technical acumen then he did. any help would be appreciated! Heres a screeny showing the problem. Though this screenshot show going through the damage calulator, the same error is recieved when trying to go in directly

1.Tell me what kinda of internet you have first then i might be able to help you that way ;)
2.For sure your not banned, either your internet don't accept ur connection to the site... or you computer got hacked from someone :rolleyes:

That most definitely is a sitewide IP ban there.
Most bannings like that are from others being banned. As your dynamic IP rotates, occasionally you end up with someone elses IP that was banned.
One trick is to release your IP, and renew it. This MIGHT (might) give you an IP outside the banned range.

Well my friend got banned.. and the way that he unban his self was restarting the modem for internet and then restart his computer. Then the IP automaticly got changed so now he is playing (not this game... on legends) :cool:
