Some of you might remember back in July, I made this (http://www.tacticsarena.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=10066&highlight=condolences) thread. A girl I am very much in love with was hit by a car and was put into a coma. For two days she was brain dead. It was definite that she was gone. The only reason her vital signs were still functioning was because of the life support she was hooked up to.

Nobody ever lives after they're brain dead, but apparently Maggie proved that wrong. For two days she was brain dead, and just as they were about to pull the plug, she woke up.

I would like to thank you all for the support you gave me. She is only thirteen, so it was very hard seeing her almost die. I am truly greatful for the words you all gave to me.

She has been in rehab for about a month, she just came home yesterday. The only problem with her now is her short term memory, which is recovering at a rapid rate. She says thanks for all the prayers to each an every one of you who provided them.

I know many of you will question why someone who will be sixteen in a few months loves a thirteen year old.

I've known her my whole life. And I have done nothing more than a hug with her. We're not even a couple, yet. I plan to keep it that way. I've asked her father's permission, and I'll keep my word to not ask her until he doesn't mind.

Wow...This is such a coincidence...

A good friend of mine just got in a terrible car accident. She was driving too fast and lost control and hit a tree. She's been in critical condition in the hospital and was on life support. They pulled the life support but she's doing much better. She's responding to touch and she can hear people now. She's doing so much better but I'm still praying that there is no long term damage to her.

Ach, There's two great things about this thread; one, it's good to finally see that you have a sensitive side. Your hardass otherside sometimes makes me forget that you, too are very much a human; and two, it's great to hear that she's doing better. Best of luck to the both of you.

Ach, I have been waiting forever to here this, and have prayed for Maggie every night even though I haven't talked to you much any more. A prayer for Sweeny's friend had become part of my nightly rituals. Man am I glad to hear this, as I even prayed for her just last night. Brings a smile to my face, so IM me and let me know as things progress.

She knows I love her. She just doesn't know I'm in love with her. She's only thirteen and I'm almost sixteen. I know it's odd, but I do have strong feelings for her. but I will wait until she's older.

Lost, words can't explain how appreciative I am of this. You and Al were the best when this first happened. I owe you two alot for the guidance you provided me with. I don't know how I'll ever repay you.

Age doesn't really matter in a relationship (to me atleast), if you really love someone go for it. Also I wish her a very speedy recovery.

Anyways, congrats Ach, and I hope you and her can have a good life together one day.

That's great Ach. I hope she get's better. She sounds tough, so I'm sure she'll be back to 100% in no time.

However, I would like to take this time to say "HA! I'm older than you, Ach!" And say that two years an a handful of months isn't that bad of an age difference. I know plenty of 15 year olds dating 17 year olds.

That's very good news that someone is saved from almost death. If this sounds stupid I just don't really know what to say but that is very amzing. I was very sad that she was going to die even know I did not even know here. But when I read that she was ok I was so happy she was. I hope she had great recover. Good luck.
