Good news and bad news

As many of you know, my "netjak.com" gold account was cancelled about two months ago.

Prior to that, I moved to Army to help Roody Poo infect that lowly server with netjak presence.

This time tomorrow, 66 is back on Banff and ready to bring SI to their knees (all 732 of them).

I want no excuses for games.
I want no whining after I beat you.
I want you to shove your netjak hate up your ass.

While you did manage to defeat 12 and I, that hardly counts as being schooled...

The new members that SI is taking on don't exactly strike fear into my heart...Dan U, apollo, killer of evil...these guys are certainly decent, but 9 times out of 10, Twelve, search, or I will beat them. Killer of Evil has even ducked me on a few seperate occasions. If you start talking about oldies and goldies like Bottle and the D boys, the wins start to even out...but right now, I'd say since Bottle, Mnrogar, and Rogue_wolf are the only (gold) SI "vets" that play on banff (and they play sporadically, at best), that the netjak dominion is relatively safe. SI may have glutted itself with new members, but in the end, it's about quality over quantity.

I know. It was a joke actually. The point was, you guys aren't going to be schooling me.

Also, perhaps twelve you and search are capable of winning against many of the newer SI members 9 times out of 10.

I mean, that's like saying because Bottle, D bros and me can perhaps beat most of netjak (excluding you guys) about 9 out of 10 times that all of SI can always beat all of netjak.

I'm sort of missing your so-called "point." But that's been happening to me a lot recently, so it's more likely my fault, anyway.

My (attempted) point is that while SI has glutted itself on new members, the netjak old guard that plays pretty consistently (me, rantzu is making a comeback, nomar, search, etc.) can generally whomp the new SI members. Should Bottle, et al. come back full time and full force then yes, it would be open season on everyone. But as things stand now, our vets are on more and winning more.

And before you start joking about who's schooling whom, remember who won the first two games that we ever played against each other. :p :cool:

And in my defense it was one of my first times using a 2 frost setup. Also, let's not forget about all of those blocks you got!
It feels so silly to argue over a game that was 5 months ago though!

Anyways! There is no arguing that there are a lot of really good players in netjak. The same is true for SI. Hopefully with the new unit coming out we'll have a few people coming back too. That would be fun. :)

In any case, I believe I've won our last 3 meetings? And also my last 2 games with 12. Sure, I still can't beat nomar, and FryLock has done well against me recently, but frankly your "Old Guard" of 12, nomar, Fry, 66 and Hugh (sorry if I missed anyone out) would still have a tough time against SI's remaining "Old Guard" of myself, theburning, Mnrogar and nads (who plays grey regularly). When you say we play sporadically, that's because we are on at different times to you guys.

Yes, we're not the same force that we used to be. But when yu're losing people like Darque, Draquist, Big X (to Legends), Rescorlian, meletus and Rogue_Wolf, you're bound to get watered down a bit. The problem is that the old guard aren't on at the right times to train our new recruits well. And I'd like to see netjak survive as well as we have if they were to lose 12, Fry, search and nomar.




























One final point: search, you're a damn good player. :)

My only point is, netjak's a damn good clan, but if it went through what SI went through, I'm not sure it would hold up as well as we have.

Well so far, I've only had two SI games this week and haven't been impressed.

The first game I challenged an SI and they requested a turtle game. I agreed, of course.

Guess what? He rushed the hell out of me. Luckily, I made it close... even after 3 consecutive side DSM blocks.

My second game was against this other guy who was trash talking me, calling me a n00b and how he wouldn't play me unless "I got my stats up".

Finally, after much harrasment he agreed.

It would certainly help if you gave us names, or PMed them to us anyway. On the other hand, didn't you tell me that the first guy asked if you were turtling? That doesn't mean to say that he is too. As for the second guy, well, some people unfortunately can't see past an opponent's rating. But tell us the names and we can deal with them.

It's nice to see SI think they can keep up with their new merge, but like Twelve said, if we were to get all our best players into one server, it will be a god damn massacre.

As far as I remember, the witch would then have had another front block against my scout to survive, but if that had hit, I would have been a unit up. The first assassin block was crucial, because again, I'd have gone a unit up if it had hit. The other two were less important, because by that time he was so obviously winning (he would have got a knight even if the assassin had been hit) that they didn't really matter.

If it looks like I'm gloating, you obviously have a self-confidence issue... that's obviously just a joke. :)
