how long do i have to wait for my account to turn gold i payed by credit card last night and in n hour it will be exactly 24 hours since i payed shouldent my account have gone gold already?:( why cant this be like other games where it takes 2 minutes to upgrade like runescape or something where u pay and ur then upgraded instintly i stayed home today from school thinkin i would be able to play some gold action but i ended up playin sc the whole day checkin in every 20 mins seein if i got upgraded yet

And to answer your question, it generally takes about 2 business days to process your account, as it is a manual process.
This means tomorrow and the day after would be the 2 days. If at the end of them you have not been upgraded, then send an email to goldaccounts@tacticsarena.com and include your paypal receipt, name, server, and when it was done.

And all future problems with gold accounts should be posted in the Gold Help Forums.

I know what it says. But it is not the reality of what it really takes. If they would make it say 2 business days i wouldn;t have to explain this to everyone every time it takes 2 days.......

lol... well it has been 24 hours?! oo gotchya there yesterday was monday n today is tuesday so that was 1 day but 24 hours soooo that means that it was 1 buisness day and 24 hours at the sAME TIME but if 24 hours is 2 buisness days that means it is 2 days w/e then that means the site is lien cuz it says 24 hours


good point bcuz if it did say 2 days maybe i wouldn have stayed home from school for nothing n prolly have a junk load of work to make up :mad:

If you paid monday at like 3am it would count. But Monday at 8pm wouldn;t.
A business day is gennerally accepted as being between 9am-5pm of the given time zone for the person doing the work. In this case it means sometime during the earlier part of the day Monday through Friday, in Canadian eastern Time.

first things first even if it says 24 hours does not mean your account will be upgraded.DR is not the man of the world he can not do everthing u just half to be very pacient.

Actually, Monday night at 10pm until now is just over 2 day mark, and is only like 60 some hours...........

A week is over 7 days.

Also, check your Paypal account and make sure payment went through. There were some MAKOR errors with Paypal this weekend.

i got the recipt or recet or however u wanna spell it + a week is only 7 days not over monday tuesday wednesday thursday friday saterday and sunday im countin by days not by hours so i could be slightly overmy head but im so impatient it feels like ive been waitin for ever

This IS a big problem. How many times in the last couple of weeks have we read about someone having a problem with going gold, and how they have emailed their issues to DR or have tried to get it resolved through all the proper channels, only to be ignored? I realize, and I think we all realize, that DR is only one man and can only do so much....but that should be more of a reason to automate this process. It was brought up that Runescape can verify your payment and upgrade your account in minutes, not days. Why can Runescape have such an efficient system and not us?

And anyone who even thought about flaming 123 Die should be ashamed of themselves! Anyone who has a legit question about what is going on with thier money should be able to ask us without being blasted away. If you paid for something and havent received it, you would start asking questions too, and wouldnt really appreciated it if someone told you to go away now would you?

1) This is not runescape. This has ONE person who does all programming. And he is NOT a game programmer. Runescape has a staff of people who program games for a living.
2) I agree those who flamed him need shot

3) Week is 7 days. You paid Monday Night. This is Thursday afternoon. At most, it would be 3 days. Do as Snarry said, and email a copy of the recepts to goldaccounts@tacticsarena.com
Then wait patiently some more.

I know next to nothing about computer programming, however I work in an office building full of programmers or want-to-be computer programmers and the consensus is that such an addition is not hard at all. One would think if someone like seed could program a complex tactical game like this, he also has the capacity to program a simple method of payment verification.

It is more a matter of wanting to figure it out and then do the work. Something definitely not exhibited by Seed.
