Health: 60
Armor: 30
Power: 30
Recovery Time: None
Movement: Knight
Blocking: 100% From the front, 50% from the sides
Attack Range: Knight

Special Information:
Whenever this unit attacks 20 health is taken from each of your units, including this unit.

Counts as two units

In addition to an oponents blocking ability, there is a 25% chance of this attack not going through. If the attack is blocked or voided by this ability your units still lose 20 hit points.

If you have a healer on the field, its healing points can ONLY HEAL this unit while the Golden Legionary is alive.

SPECIAL ABILITY - Grip Of Terror

When this ability is activated all units within the attack range of the Golden Legionary have an extra 1 turn recovery time.

Please leave suggestions, is this unit still to overpowered with all of these hardships for using it?

WAY TOO OVERPOWERED

i dunno, its too powerful, yet too weak. taking 20 life from all friendly troops? thats any mages, clerics and BWs dead in 2 of this guys attacks. down the damage to 10 and maybe it will be better.

and with no recovery time, what stops it just using its special every single turn, making any nearby units have like a 20 turn recovery

thats like a suicide bomber with nukes or A-bombs or hydrogyen bombs
yes it will kill spell casters in a matter of turns (on your side or the other) ITS JUST WAY TO FREAKINOVERPOWERED if you ever make a unit like this i will hunt you down and kill you, this is Walrus's and many others (not me) domain, GET OUT OF HERE WITH YOUR FREKIN UNIT AND NEVER COME BACK IF YOU INTEND TO HAVE IT WITH YOU, at least my crappy units were underpowered

I'm with Walrus on this one. It is both overpowered and underpowered. So much needs to be done to this unit that it would simply kill what it is now. This is a phrase that your going to hear a lot if you keep making units like this one.

Leave us and burn your drawing board. Then get a new one and don't come back till you make something half way decent.

actually walrus, using its special over and over again would be totally pointless, since it takes a turn to use, and only adds one turn recovery time.

its still overpowered though, ud keep this in the back and then rush it out in the end, and it could clean up everything on its own with that 0 recovery time, it could beat 3 knights single handedly, in other words, for the cost of one unit, you can instantly win the knight fight that seems to come about at the end of so many games, while your opponent must use three.

greys would offically become useless against golds.

you guys seem to be missing something. this unit is useless in all aspects of the game unless the enemy has about one unit left. even if it was the last unit you had standing on the field unless your enemy had less than one knight this unit would die after 3 attacks. -20 damage per attack to itself and it would be gone before it did any good. with that it's a merely ok unit but still it needs some work. with its -25% attack ability it seems this units almost no good at doing anything except maybe blocking a path with its large armor and health.

good point, totally forgot about the fact that it damages itself, so ur right, it is totally useless.

this idea offically sucks, too many drawbacks, so unless you wanna redesign it entirely, which would be pointless as the idea itself isnt anything special, just give it up.

Fiur - a very bold unit idea i'll give you that. I don't think it's overpowered. I think it's drasticly underpowered. I mean even if you save it for endgame you have three shots to finish them off and thats all. As well as the fact if you save it for the endgame your cleric becomes useless. I mean the only real use for the unit is finishing off a mage bomb assuming they only have 2 mages left. Even then you have to hit them which can be very hard with this guy.

Also all you n00bs who flamed this guy for making it "way too overpowered" (except you walrus... you put thought into it) I don't care who you are or the fact you are completey wrong this guy had an original idea and made a very bold unit. Do not think you guys have even come close to earn the right to flame anyone here yet, or i will see to it that you won't want to stay around here for very much longer.

Definately.
However, losing 20 points per unit, every time you attack, is what really makes it unusable. No single unit is worth self-inflicting that much damage.
Iron out the kinks and post again. It has potential.

I thought the idea was bad when I saw how overpowered he was...but then when you put this:

Whenever this unit attacks 20 health is taken from each of your units, including this unit.

Wow...
