Golds on GL are getting away with grey jumping. Half the time I challenge a gold, they ignore me and jump a gray. If they are listed with an X next to their name they were defeated by a gray, a / by a gold.

I've been called a grey jumper many times, and all i can say is i don't jump them. I wait for them to challenge me and as for turning down a challenge, no... Unless the person rushes or is just lame, i don't turn down anything. Did you see me say "No", cause you didn't, cause i didn't, therefore i didn't turn down anything. Why not get some screen shots to back yourself up. rofl.

Sometimes, not often, i will be teaching greys how to play, like the new ones that don't know jack shit. But lets look at the facts, if i jump a normal new grey, 750 stat, i gain nothing from it... so why would i? In conclusion, watch your mouth before you speak, kid.

People were playing greys.
They may or may not have been grey jumping.
But you didn't give us enough info to make that judgement. A single picture of each person doesn't cut it.
I get jumped by grays all the time.
And there's no chat log in there.
Your 'evidence' is feeble.

And even if everybody was grey jumping, that doesn't make it right for you or anybody to do it.
If you are grey jumping, don't try and justify it, it's wrong.

But I can't say you are doing it.
I see you in GL a lot, and darned if I can remember what you do, so I'm no help in this situation. :p

Eric, before you tell me to learn how to spell take in mind that many words have different spellings in different regions. For example, color and colour. Or gray and grey. And seeing as how my last name is gray, I think I know how to spell both versions.

Tyu is not a grey jumper, believe me. If anything he was sitting on floor 4 waiting for a game and I could probably name what tile, I'm guessing center tile 2nd row, between my tile and ice zero's.

Tacticdrug is suspected, brekke is listed, and I doubt Visual is also. Quit spamming my thread. And btw, you're not making me look stupid. Note how it says suspected. Not confirmed. And btw, you jumped me when I was a grey.

Most?! probably all of them... I play greys 80%+ of the time... not because I jump... I sit and wait and then get jumped by them. Normally it's just me and my wife in there and if we play each other we don't gain/lose stats.

His Dragon and scout each still has 1 turn. My scout just killed his muddie after mud-quaking my assassin, barrier, cleric and enchantress. My scout move to that position to kill the stonie.

Great Lakes, lots of noob golds. There are also golds in the top100 you could continually beat for points (*laughs out loud*). But given the chance, these noobs golds might be the first ones to reach 1900 on the mirror servers.

You have no idea how hard it is to do that. To get even 1 point when you're at 1850, you need to beat people above 1250. A n00b gold won't do that.

Rantzu will be the first person to reach 1900, unless he gives up the game.

No, the first time you jumped me, I told you that I didn't want to play you and you gave me some line about "I was bored" and I told you that I was just gonna surrender and you said something along the lines of "So be it". I did not make any moves the first time I played you, I just surrendered.

The second time you played me, I just threw my pieces at you for 3 moves before I just let time run out on my move (in effect surrendering).

Regardless of how many golems you had, what I do know is that you had an army almost completely made up of gold only pieces..

I don't want to learn how the gold pieces move. I don't want to learn because it doesn't f'n matter. I'll lose to a gold brandishing your army regardless of how well I learn how they move. I can't compete with that and you should know that. Hence, the only reason you're jumping me is because I'm an easy bump to your score.

I'm with Dajae here. Much as it is impolite to jump a grey, it does get annoying when no golds are on. Are you expected to just sit around for an hour, waiting for a game?

And a player who doesn't even try to win will get 0 respect from me. Gold units are NOT invulnerable. Golems in particular die in 3 hits from a knight, 4 if they are armored. With no blocking. And a grey's strength is his knights and enchantress.

Jadereaver, if you'd tried to win, and actually come close, I'd have felt sorry for you. But if you surrender without even moving, well, that's your choice. I could beat Dajae grey-to-gold without any drops about half the time, I bet. (No disrespect to Dajae there.) So why would you give up on turn 1?

If you learn how to play golds, and beat golds, you have a decent source of points, because golds usually have more rating than greys. Of course, you need skill to bee able to do that. If you don't think you're skilled enough, well fine. But don't place your avatar when there's a gold in the lobby. Or if you do, don't complain about it afterwards.

In any case, when I jump a grey (very, very rarely, and only greys that I already know play well), they only lose 1 point, and usually learn a lot.

grey vs gold is not that hard. It takes a good player with good strategy. If you play good golds its hard to win but if you challange not so good golds then it is quite a simple game. Turtles are harder to kill than a rush generally but it depends.

Even I can't beat a turtler gold with a furgon that knows what he's doing. But rushes and bombs are reasonably easy to beat, if you play it right.

You just need good use of your 3 strengths, the scout, knights, and above all the chanty.

If you are so paranoid, jst jump greys yourself, or ask people for games on a set floor and a set arena so that you never get jumped and you always play the person you want to play.

I would back you if you had put up some sort of fight, but leaving straight off without even giving it a shot? That's just asking for a grey jumper to jump you again. They think, free points, and rightly so. The first time I ever played a gold (he jumped me, and I was new like my tenth game or so) I knight rushed him, and got my ass handed to me on a platter. But at least it was fun. Then I changed my formation and won 7 of 10 of my next games against golds. It aint hard.

If you are half the grey you say you are you should be able to beat half the golds on great lakes, and at least give some more adequate golds a run for their money, at least to scare them off. Anyone better shouldn't get enough points from you anyways, so they wont jump you, and you have nothing to lose.

But the problem with only posting golds is that most of the time it does not do much. Most grey-jumpers dont read the forums, dont care about what others think of them, and as a result of getting jumped will just jump other greys even more furiously. Or jump themselves for stats.

I don't think this is about the issue of grey jumpers, so much as it is about an opportunity to rag on KoTR again. Which would explain why you list the KoTR members and make sure to write their clan name in parenthesis, and conveniently exclude every other clan member's clan name unless they're a KoTR member.

Listen, I'm all for stopping grey jumpers, but this is nothing but an attack on KoTR poorly masked behind a benevolent and much-stressed agenda.

I think Bushido Gaiden is a good clan and have no qualms with them, and thus I won't pass any judgement against them based on your actions here, but I must say, DO give it a rest. If you want to take up the issue of grey jumping on Great Lakes, you could do yourself a favor and ACTUALLY take up the issue of grey jumping on Great Lakes. No veiled attacks on anyone. Geez.
