Account name after ungold?

what happens to your account after you ungold?

i can't use my old gold name, and i can't create it.

Usually, an account that is ungolded remains as a grey until the next wipe, and is then wiped as normal.
Have you tried to use the account since the wipe? (if not someone may have jacked your name)

i'm not sure when the last wipe was.... and to tell you the truth, i'm not even sure when i ungolded....

But here's something that adds even more confusion. I can't use my old grey name either....

So the only thing i can think of is that somebody jacked both of my names? They're not very common names.... and i dont think anyone idolized me enough to take them.

I dont know man i guess you will have to use a new name until the wipe. That really sux tho.

Well, i'd like to go gold again, and understandably, i would like to be gold with my old name. And i'm not going to sign up for gold with my old name right now (since i can't even use it) so i'm really not going to go gold until i figure this out.
