well let me clarify, I beleive there was slip in communication. As to me, the definition of a turtle is a formation with the general strategy of being defensive and compact. Wolfe's definition is that it is a formation that must contain a stonie and cannot contain a DSM. As I didnt have a stonie and did have a DSM, he labeled me as a bomber....ok whatever. Also Wolfe's defintion of a turtle means there cannot be any spaces what-so-ever between your units at the start. I had my scouts spaced 2-3 spaces away from my main cluster so he labeled me as using a spread...ok whatever.
Anyways, I'll be the first to admit I'm not a good gold. I just turned gold about a week ago and still havent found my feet just yet. However , Mr Wolfe, if you would like to have a grey battle, I'd be more than happy to send you running home with your tail between your legs.

DD shpuld post the formation he used here (unless it's secret), because at the moment whether it's a turtle or not can't be told... but I think DD acted in a fair way using what he thought was a turtle. But while turtle definitions are up to interpretation, using a spread out formation is certainly not my idea of a turt... it's supposed to be clustered together for mutual protection.

Since DD was a grey for so very long, that's probably where the miscommunication happened. Generally, the better grey players use a "corner turtle" with the units somewhat grouped together, but not all side-by-side. A lot of these "turtles" have 2 or 3 magic users, as well. I've heard greys in the lobby talk about their "turtles," so that's probably where the mixup happened here. I'm willing to bet that DD's set in question actually looks a lot like a grey set.

Hey if you want to specify no drops, I would be happy to comply. It didnt occurr to you to add any drops, since you are used to practicing for Team Revelation. A preparation mistake on your part...;) Those rules only define a turtle for the tourney, not for any other games....

12 uses side-up-attack tur with no DT, while wolf uses simple medium tur. Knowing if wolf going defense, 12 will uses his 3 knights, 2 scouts, muddy, BeastRider rush-attack n stomp in, wolf took the iniciative to sacrifice his 2 scouts for cleric n frosty kill plus destoning..... also, 12 made an attempt to kill wolf's scout with his muddy side attack but failed... wolf's scout managed to live one more turn to kill 12's frosty which is vital to the battle.....After that, both ppls re-stoned n go for the final clash. Wolf use Knight by DT side-by-side attack while 12 defenses attack with 2 scouts, 3 knights n br... all wounded by suicide-attack muddy of wolf. Wolf's SUPER dragon tyrant blocked 4 front-attack n 3 side-attack. Thats when 12 call it a day. :(

Very enjoyable tur battle, very close i should say. Srry for the blocks thou, i admit that it is too much.

One thing thou, i noticed the netjaks play their turs like rush.... most turs i faced from u guys were attacking/rushing turs. But I manage to see the way to get around it. Try to use some variety of turs.... there is so much more type of turs that is also very useful.... not criticising here, just suggestions, if u guys need help for turtling... i would certainly like to help....:)

Well we both had nice turtles and nothing exciting happened for the first 1/2 hour, then, i got his knight down to 10, he BW it, i move in with the assassin, kill his BW 2 turns later and hurt his DMW...He kills the assassin but i kill his knight, then he kills my knight but i kill his DMW with a nasty shot from my scout...Stalemate till he wants to go a tad bit offensive...His pyro strikes my cleric from the cornor...i trap the pyro with 2 knights...And kill his knight with the LW...He shoots my DMW, now down to 10...He can not heal at this point, so i take a risky move...I move in with 1 of my knights and strike the scout in the side, then kill his scout with my DMW, he killed my DMW with his last knight....He kills my Cleric with my pyro then runs, but then dies when my knight chances it...He has 1 knight left (has a chantty, LW, and cleric, but all far far away and his cleric cant heal) i paralyze his last attacking unit, then he surrenders
