Theres another server/place where greys can win drops to get beasts and golem units.You can't get them here though.

But this server is better. Over at the other server it takes 10 minutes to log on a free account.

The Legends server does give some non-human units to the free grey accounts, but there is a much less chance of getting on the server there as a grey, as it is usually full. There are some other basic differences between Legends and these servers too, but they are too complicated to get into.

I've had pretty good experience with the legend's server, but I use the school's computers (I cant get on these servers at school for some reason, but legends works fine), which are super-fast.
