Anybody remember the story I was writing? After tons of discussion with my english teacher and some friends about the theme, I've finally started writing it. Here are a few paragraphs.
Hello. My name is Dragein Auriadizo. I am 15 years old, with brown eyes, black curly hair, and light brown skin. I have a small nose, medium-sized eyebrows, and my eyes are shaped in such a way that I look suspicious of anything in my presence.
I am a quiet individual. I don't talk much to anyone unless I am asked a question. I have a short temper, though even when I am mad, I don't show it. I have never had many friends in my life due to my drawnback nature. I have always believed that friends were unnecessary, that is until I met people from a couple of rival clans. I'll explain the deal behind clans a little later.
Cephas, a pure thinker, comes from a clan that in most circumstances, needs no introduction; the Thieves Guild. This clan has a horrible reputation just because of the name. It is actually one of the most good-willed clans around. This clan actually refuses to steal for it's own ends; it steals for the poor, and from the rich. It is led by a woman by the name of Regdar.
Cavour and Kalamady, pure goof-offs, but deadly combination, come from what is damn-near the most powerful clan around; Bushido Gaiden. A group of vigilantes, they keep the bad-guys in check, in a bad-ass sort of way. There are not many clans that would dare cross blades with Bushido Gaiden. Very stupid idea. I used to be in this clan. It's leader is Lord Achilles, know by clan members as Amaroth Kaizane.
And finally, you have Utamaro. He and cephas have been my best friends since I was a small child. Utamaro is founder of the Sage Warriors, whose members are all high mages of the legendary warrior, DivineRight. If there is a clan that rivals Bushido Gaiden, these are the fucking guys. Bushido Gaiden is full of highly intelligent, sword-wielding bad-asses. Sage Warriors is ful of highly intelligent, magick-wielding bad-asses. Most of the clan is as annoying as hell though; they think they are so fucking superior; excluding Utamaro and a few other people. The can walk their talk, however.
Okay, now to explain clans. Clans are a collection of individuals who band together to serve a certain cause. Every clan has a leader, and aat least one secondary leader. About 300 clans are started every month; fewer than 10 stand up to the test of time. A good clan has about 50 or more members. There are some excellent clans with a member count less than that; I've even heard some of the best clans around have less than 7 members, but you'd have to be super bad-ass to be able to stop 50 people with like 3 warriors; the odds are worst than ten to one.
Right now, I'm not a member of a clan, nor do I plan to be for a very long time. I left Bushido Gaiden to find my family's murderer once I recieved a letter of their murder four weeks ago. The burst of anger in my heart unleashed a power unlike anything I have ever seen before... such a great power that I put an entire city in ruins.
That letter is still etched in my memory like words chiseled on a slab of stone:
"Dragein,
I happily inform you that I have just slaughtered your entire family, with no mercy shown to anyone. I did this to remind you that you were never more powerful than I, and your precious clan, Bushido Gaiden will suffer the same fate lest you leave with no explanation, to fight my clan, the Shadow Nets. Oh, and yes, you cannot recruit anyone else from any other clan to help you. ~Scout Blade"
Scout Blade, my rival, arch-nemesis, my hated enemy. He wiped my family from the face of this planet, like excremet from a boot; I knew the hand that wrought this deed.
...So what do you think?
