Bills said he was switching back to the grey and black until after the forum design contest.
The problem with a design contest is there is no free version of vBulletin, and there are no vBulletin skin design programs for public release. So designing new skins for it are more hit and miss, since you can't know every catagory vBulletin uses.

Bills, you didn't include the stylist sheet in the directory for the forums, thats why alot of the shit looks so big.

The css is "semi hard coded" it doesn't call a .css file from what I seen. While I think it would be a good idea if it were a .css file so we could cache that sucker. It doesn't seem like the vb team wanted it that way for some reason.
I was thinking for the design ppl would have just viewed source, opened the file in some html tool, played around with the colors a bit took a screenie and then posted the hex values.

Isn't that a quater pounder, not a Big Mac? I'm pretty sure it's a quarter pounder, because they can't call it that because they use metric.

Althought this is not how i would have called to the stylesheet, this is how the rest of TAO did.
<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="/styles.css"/>
Now couldn't you just add that to the header of the forums? Maybe use the complete URL or add the entire URL including http:// should work? Maybe i'm wrong, but this seems like a very easy problem to fix.

Or like this
But the color scheme was a SHOCK to the laid backness of the old way.

Le Big Mac. Now change the damn color scheme already. If VB has half the scripting power that phpBB has, it would take maybe five seconds. If you need help, I'm all for it. Just let know.

In fact, forget VBulletin in the first place. phpBB is superior in almost every way. Doesn't a license for VB cost an arm and a leg? Yeah, phpBB is open source.

Invisionfree blows. Just use Invision Boards. You can download and install for NOTHING. No ads, no nothing.
And they paid for the vBulletin license long long ago. To convert now would be a big deal, and would probably result in losing some content in the forums.

phpbb is junk... you get what you pay for alot of the time and I think with vb having paid guys working on coding makes a huge difference.

Its a 2 second fix, simple modify the header to inculde the stylist, or write out the html for the style you want it to look and again place it in the header.

Then how come the guys you paid are displaying this crap and pretending that it looks good? Any phpBB2 theme out there is better than this "junk."

Actually, the forums could probally be converted to an Invision in an hour, two max, and the posts in another hour (greatly reduced if you have multiple people working on it).
And anyway, while invision is good (and definitely the best free out there), vB is better, and it's already paid for. Don't worry, it will be much better once the color is fixed, just deal with it for a couple of days.
