Now that I am back

Now that I am back I feel it is important that people know where I stand on this issue. Me being one of the most disrespectful to Bills, I think it is my part to let the community know how I feel. If you don’t care how what I think, don’t read this thread. Don’t post that you don’t care, because I don’t care that you don’t care.

Okay, here we go. First off, the reason I blew up in Bills face was more of a response to a clear chance to disrespect authority. Most people here know that me and DR were not the best of friends. While him getting fired upset me, it wasn’t the absolute reason for me going crazy.

DR’s story. I don’t believe it. Sorry, I just see too many flaws. And I have heard him tell it a couple of times. Each time was a different way of telling it and each time he added stuff. I think he is using this opportunity, the players of TAO hating Bills, to slander Bills even more. I do think he stole from the company, and I am behind Bills 100% with his story.

As for the deleting threads, I don’t think that was necessary. DR’s goodbye thread, Snarrs goodbye thread, all not necessary. I think they were actions of a desperate man. Bills didn’t exactly wipe his feet on a welcome mat when he came. More like a “get outta here” mat. Anyways, I do not think the deleting of those threads were necessary.

The upgrades. For most of this community upgrades will not replace the loss of DR. I did respect him for what he did with this community. And I know if I respected him, some of the people here will leave for him. Thanks for the upgrades, I’m glad they’re coming, but some would rather have DR.

Lastly, mods. Burning and Snarr, don’t leave. You two are the mods that I know actually know what DR would have wanted. You know how he ran things and you know what he would of did in certain situations. We need forums leaders around here that are like that. To keep DR here, through his most trusted members. Please don’t leave. Aro and Xerent, thanks for sticking here. You’re truly dedicated to this game, rather then just DR.

Honestly... It *is* good to have you back, and you are one of the cornerstones of the community.

I'm also glad that you've come to the same conclusion I did MONTHS ago, that DR isn't the blowjob everyone thought he was.

First, let me congratulate you on a civil post I'm quite impressed, it's well written.

Second, let me explain a bit I didn't get the chance earlier. To say I am a puppet of DR is wrong and offending, you should at least give us a bit of credit for control over our own thoughts. If I chose to leave it's because I was true to myself not true to the former administrator. True to myself in the respect that I have standards what and who am I willing to work under and for.

While deciding to leave was a hastily taken decision and I was unsure if the right one at the beginning, as the days passed it became clearer and clearer it was the right one. With PM and emails being ignored, with the not caring about the servers being spammed, with arrogant attitude, taking moderators for granted and so on.

Trying to get a point across, bending the arms of the administrators or getting DR back were never at all my objective unlike what believed. It was simply who am I willing to work for and who am I not.

Don’t get me wrong I do love this place and this is why I'm still here until new moderators come and pushing the process for them to be appointed. Maybe things will change, with the new administrators and I would happily be back, but at the moment things are looking gloomy.

As for the slander issue, while you are entitled to your opinion let me just tell you that DR is looking into legal actions concerning slander. A guilty man would be thankful he is not in prison rather than push the issue..

And welcome back Kal. I for one don;t think DR stole any money, and if you look at Bills post, he was very careful to never actually say that.
But in any case where there is someone being fired, the company usually makes it sound worse than it is, and the person makes it sound like they were completely innocent of anything the company says.
In the end, both sides never will see eye to eye, and the settlement of it will be handled far outside of TAO.

And i agree that DR's goodbye needed to be seen. Snarrs should be too.

as long as you 2 remain on the forums atleast, I am somewhat happy. And aro and xerent will always take you opinions seriously if you suggest something to them. It all works, maybe a longer more dramatic process, but it works.

Snarr and burning, I am sorry if my post gave off the wrong impression. I did not mean to sya you were DR's puppets. I meant that it seemed to me that your reasons for leaving was the harsh treatement of DR. I see there were other reasons now, I still hope that you will decide to stay though.

I truly feel that Bills is the right man for the job, and with all these new additions, which were capable of being done by DR shows that this new 'era' if you will, has many good things for us in the future. Hats off to ya!
