View Full Version : 2004-2005 Banff TAO season. LOOK!

THE RULES

This is something new that I want to start. THis is my second big event ive done besides my tournament a few months ago. If anyone watches the NFL you know that there are 8 divisions. The AFC west, south, east, north and the NFC west, south,east,north. There are 4 teams in each division. So this is my idea.

Each player is a team. You can not switch your name during the season. You will play 15 games in the regular season and the 2 top team of each division goes into the playoffs. The last two teams will play in the TAO SuperBowl (not very original, sorry). Sign up quick! After all 16 players have signed up we will begin the season. I will make a season schedule. PLayers are put in division randomly. *you will play more games against people in your division* You can postpone games if you cant make it during that specific day but remember to tell me. Take a screenshot of all your victories to ensure your victory. There will be about 2 games a week.

This is a good idea, the only problem is the participation, there just are not 32 Banff players that read the Banff forums. Post this on GD, and none the less, I'm in if it actually gets started.

I suppose this is a decent idea...but a 30-game season? With 40 total teams? That's a lot of scheduling for one person to do...over a long period of time. With only 3 games per week, this is a 10 week thing. People come and go a lot more quickly.
Also, you've not specified whether this is greys only, no drops allowed, etc.

It's an interesting idea, but I do not think it's at all practical.

I understand what he is trying to accomplish. It would of course not be him only trying to organize it all. And the whole "season" should not be expected to be finished for some people. But as with football, a scheduled day and time agreed on by both parties etc. If one side does not show up, well then, they lose.

This is a good idea but I think it should be like 15 games. Are we playing every Sunday and 1 team Monday? Also it might be a good idea to make less teams.

i need someones opinion tho
should i make more games in a week so it takes less weeks
or....
keep to 2-3 games a week because not everyone can play on weekdays but this will take more weeks
