I have found some really good stuff to use for prank calls. The first one is the AT&T Relay service. The link is found here:
http://www.relaycall.com/national/index.html

You type in the phone number you want to dial, type a message on your computer and an operator at AT&T will say the message to the person you called. The persons response will be typed to you by the same operator. This does not cost any money (i checked)

Another good place is the sound boards at ebaumsworld.com. Heres a more specific link:
http://www.ebaumsworld.com/soundboards.shtml

this allows you to choose a celebrity/famous person, and use their voice to talk to the someone you called. Just click the persons voice you want and click one of their quotes/lines. The voice will then say that quote. *A speaker phone works best for this, speakers for computer required*.

That thing just gave me great entertainment by talking to myself. Although I did feel kinda stupid with that lady on the line knowing the conversation. :o

"thank you .. dialing .. ca 8428 (F) ringing 1... 2... (one moment pls) (and I will relay complete message) Thanks for calling Eric Houck, leave a message. (line has now disconneted) (hung up) ga or sk
Are you a live oper?
(yes)
That's soo cool. Do they pay you?
(relay chat disconnected)"

That is so cool. It works well. It's a free service that someone has to actually attend that they pay.

You ignorant piece of crap.

I work for AT&T.
That service is designed for people with disabilities to help them communicate, not for inbred @$$holes to try and be funny.
You're not funny, you're retarded.

Just talk yourself...it's usually a lot funnier than the soundboards or whatever.

Me and my friends used to prank call the AOL operators with sound boards. It would go on for hours. We also had a script we had written, information being provided to us from internal AOL operators, that convinced the AOL operators that we were from pegareach systems and got them to change their passwords.

In the past have I ever gotten my jollies bringing back old threads and starting fights over them?
Not even once Hugh, not even once...

Good quote though, I'm gonna use it at work today.

Stop embarrassing yourself with that broken sig, Snork!

What are you talking about buttface?

The point of a sig and/or avatar is to express something about yourself. I thought it represents me quite well.
