Different mods.

Sorry if the title scared you, but I saw this on ledgends when I was seeing how pathetic there forums are (unfortunatly they're not that bad),they have mods just for the forums and not the actual game play. So-what you ask? Well this will give greys and golds who don't have time to be a full time mod the chance. They will be incharge of the one section,'For example have,Bottle only incharge of Gereal Disscusion, and Hasam (god forbidd) incharge of, say, Create-A-Unit.'. This allows many different points of veiw on the different issues (ya, right) and makes theburning's and Snarr's jobs much easyer (<-<-main point).

The confusion of having different mods for different sections is highly evident on Legends forums. It doesn't work. The forums there are a complete mess partially due to just that policy.

If you trust someone enough to be a mod, then you should trust them enough to mod the entire forum with equal judgement. There job is not to decide what i good or bad in that forum, but to make sure that everyone follows the rules, and keeps it clean. To try and limit them in anyway is a BAD idea.

And we have 4 mods who do fine. Two of them may have quit for a while, but the other 2 did just fine during the duration of the absense of the other two.

This is not Legends. And taking a failure of an idea from there to be tried here is not only stupid, but dumb as well.

Well, I guess thats true. I never spent enough time on ledgends (a hour or so)to really take a good look at this. I see where this could go wrong, but this would be a good idea to have as just a talk about. We could possibly make this into a good idea if we work the bugs out of it. This is where ledgends might have messed up.

It is a horrible idea no longer how long you look at it.

Finding someone who can be trusted to be a mod at all is hard enough. To then have to find more, just to divide up the power is rediculous. Having each mod have full power throughout the boards allows any one mod to handle a problem account that arrises, no matter where it is. Splitting the power prevents that. A person could spam in a certain forum, knowing the mod for it wasn't here.

I think that this idea would be like a last resort...only if absolutely no mods could be found who could work the forums as a whole. As long as ppl are willing to mod the entire forums, what would even be the point of considering breaking it up?

In theory yes it should be (about the person that is).

DFG - Too long greys have been oppressed! Far too long have greys bottom fed and only tasted the shiny shoes of those more fortunate than then. I say greys rise up. We rise up and make a mockery of choosing the next mod because it seems like a fun thing to do.

Because honestly... the only option i feel Bills has for keeping a good Australasian mod is to explain why the thread about DR was deleted and get Snarr to stay.

But in the meantime... Boo Snarr... My policies are far superior to yours in every aspect. My running mate and i shall wipe the floor with you :).
