Oh, don't get me wrong, your hitlist pisses me off. Not the fact that I'm on it or that people following through on the hitlist seem content to mock and ridicule me for losing a game, hell, even the fact that the leaders of the clan itself not only condones but supports such derogatory and degenerate behaviour... But the fact that you guys actually get so worked up over this game that you mark people for what they've done and carry out on hitlists to get even with them... The concept in and of itself is disturbing.

Netjak has always prevented from actively recruiting people in other clans. Leaders do not sit in the lobby and seriously trash a clan in order to convert memberfs.
AK does this on a constant basis. It is your clan and your clan leaders that have repeatedly shown just how little class they really have.

I don't care about #1. It's the journey that counts, not the destination. I don't want my clan to expand on Great Lakes. Sure, #1 is fine, but what's the fun in being there if nobody's going to contest it? Mm?

I've told my leaders not only that I want people to stop recruiting out of other clans, but tone down recruitment entirely. The clan's ballooning like crazy, and I'd rather not it popped.

I didn't encourage BG members to come to my clan. I opened the doors, and three or four came. The only true 'help' BG gave us by dropping out was thinning the competition, and I curse Ach for that. BG was a good clan and it would still have been a good clan today.

However, I'm not going to encourage him to come back and revive BG against his will. Instead, I am driving Sage Warriors to thrive and reach the top. They are another good clan and I know they can make it to the top--it's just a matter of time. Utamaro had a lot of guts by including so many leaders early on, and a lot more to make it work. I congradulate him on his success and hope for more.

Telling people the clan they're in sucks and is full of losers is a terrible recruiting strategy (unless, for some odd reason, you're trying to recruit a *JW* member, then that statement is true!) and reflects poorly on the clan and the leader making such a pitch.

Finally - rep, schmep. netjaks, just go out and beat the tailfeathers of every AK player who will accept your challenge. Stomp them, crush them, flawless them, and be polite while doing it, and they will know that they are simply outclassed.

I remember fighting a guy on Armageddon on the leader account there [he jumped me... Or maybe I jumped him... Can't remember] and made a slip-up, and he got a DSM burn on my Cleric and Frost, killing one and damaging the other. After that he tried to recruit to me to his clan, where he could "make me a good fighter". When I declined to support AK, he told me AK was soft and wouldn't last long anyway. Hilarious. :)

That said, it shouldn't happen. If someone wants to join, or is "open game" for recruiters, by all means, go for it. But I don't like the thought of targetting people in other clans for recruitment, no matter how respectful they are of the other's clan.

Since I don't spend much time on GL, and I pretty much corner the Knights recruitment on Army, I'll be reminding all active GL leaders not to recruit out of other people's clans. And if they do, at least leave it be if they don't jump at the opportunity.

I meant these "many complaints" over the last week that Jeffery mentioned. I did talk with Ice and ABK in GL chat after you told me awhile back (as they were both on at the time), and heard not a peep afterwards. If this was still going on after that incident, why was I never told?

Nobody was ever immortalized for killing a rodent, but people still hear stories of how the knight slayed the dragon and saved the princess, yada yada. By substituting "win" with "save", you give more incentive to reward successes, and demonize the opposing side, thus giving more clause to support the victor.
