Ok, how often have some of you Golds been beaten by kick ass Greys?..

I think its time we showed these guys some, I dunno, hehe... Recognition?.. For being as skilled as they are.

If you know a highly skilled Grey, post their name and their current rating :).

This is just something to get people more involved with the forums ... hehe ...

Ok, just thought I'd grab first post :D.

A few Greys here:

Primary Target - 1219. A great Grey, a great clan leader, lots of fun to talk to, and most of, knows how to kick ass.

Idor - 1236. Great skill, puts up a good fight, and never backs down. Not the most known Grey around, but he should be recognised.

And there you have it!.. If you want to add a little comment about the person, please feel free!..

Ice-Zero - BG: Only played him once, but I was totally impressed! :)

Leigh - 1274. I think she ranks as the coolest and most known chick on TAO. She's also got a mountain of skill and talent, and she always knows just what to say at just the right time. A true asset to TAO.

Terrorist - 1221. Does his name give you an idea of this Grey?.. What more needs to be said?..

PUNISHER - 1304. Played him one and lost. He did say it was his best game in a month though :)... We were in opposite side turtles... he told me to stay put... he would come and get me :p. And get me he did.

What, no Scoutblade or berzerker? :P Joking aside, Scoutblade owns. As does Reverie, who beat me gray and has been wrecking golds recently. :)

And I had a great game with Terrorist gray vs gray a while back, came down very close but he got my chanty and me in the end.

I'd add applesauce but I actually haven't played him.

I'll vouch for Leigh, she's very good. I never pass up an opportunity to play her whenever I see her in the lobby. She beats me every time though!

I'll also vouch for Terrorist. I've seen him take down many golds; although a bit arrogant, he does have the skill to back it up.

_bob_ is another, He's been kicking some gold ass on Banff.

Bane is just the best. He's kicked my grey around quite a few times.

I would say so far that all of my time in great lakes that Seifer__99,Squall__99,Scout_Blade,Shiny Flors are far by the best,

Also if I am correct Mich is a very incredible gold beater and has managed to get his stats to 1425.

JinZo. He said it best about one of our games, it made his head hurt. :) 2 knights vs 2 knights and a chanty, both knights injured but attacking would lead to defeat for both. Tried to evade for a great many turns before making a false move (swore as I set down) and being paralyzed.

I can speak about most of my gray games with a greater respect than my gold games.

I must say that I was beaten once I think by a grey. You know who you are and conngrats...there is no need to post your name...***(there was serious luck invilved in the game)*** I must say that I too was a pretty good grey...

Of all time, i'm going to go with either xyxaxyz2 or Tcbb. +- would be next, but I think he was just shy of those two. Also snarr was an incredible grey.

I say... HE SUCKS! A truly good player has not only the skill, but the sportmanship to act like a man.

I've had problems finding good greys on GL lately.
Not that they don't exist...but when I ask to play they always say they have to go.

Terrorist might be a bit cocky but he's played every game I've ever asked to play.
Though, that name is pretty annoying.

I know terrorist likes to have some fun in the lobby, but he can back it up really nicely. Very skillful play.

I just got beaten by a grey, and yes, grey on gold. hhhhhh, who just happens to be BG's newest member :p, is a very excellent player. His stats are only 993, but he rushed me very well. His endgame was really weird, but it did what it had to do, and he won with only a knight and cleric left (and a witch that was in range of my l-ward, if i wanted to play until he killed my stonie too). He's an excellent player, and deserves recognition.

Hmm... I've played so many great Greys... I'll try to compile a little list...

Shiny - We've fought grey like 4 times, and each time, you've beaten me. You're also wickid as a Gold. You're just damn good. 'Nuff said.
Mich - Still 1 and 1 man, we'll get the tie breaker in there someday. Your will to be the best Grey is also very admirable. Stick with it. You'll get there.
Ice Zero - Also 1 and 1, I believe. Not much to say about you. You hold your own.
Ramses - Daj reminded me of this guy on the second page of this thread I think it was. Untouchable. Simple as that. Best Grey of his time in my opinion.
Orcstorm - I don't know if you're still around, but you are insanely good. Our match was fairly close, but I think you had me where you wanted me the whole time. Also one of the most respectable players I've met.
Jens/Il Duce - Old school. Back in the day, you were the Grey to beat man. Took forever to get your ass into BG, but it was worth the wait. :p You are the Chanty master man. Great player, never gave 2 shits for stats.
Tcbb - We didn't get to finish our Grey match because of my god damn connection, but from what I saw, you're just as good Grey as you are Gold. And considering that you are THE Legend of TAO as a Gold, you obviosuly kick ass Grey too.
Carioca - Another absolutely sick Grey. I think you may have left BG, but either way, you're nasty. :p Beat me our only game.
Cephas - I can't remember our record. Either 1 and 1, or 2 and 1, you. Either way, you're one of the best Greys I've ever played, and you aren't limited to one formation type. You're skilled in every area man, and you're a good friend.
