Alright, I've got to know. People are always complaining about AIM, but why? What are your reasons for hating AIM? If you ask me I prefer it far more than MSN.

AIM...let's see here. Crappy chatrooms, crappy I-face, the smileys look like they've been beaten with bats repeatedly, it's related to AOL.

It is AOL Instant Messenger, Not America Instant Messenger.

Everybody does. And Tek I know, but it's more commonly called AIM, not AOL IM.

I've never heard it called AOL IM, and the A still stands for "AOL". I've never heard it called America Instant Messenger, expecialy because it's available anywhere in the world with internet access.

And anyway, I prefer AIM only because more people I know use it. MSN is overall a better IM, but I know very few people (that I want to talk to) that use it.

more people use AIM then any other messaging system. thats why more ppl like it becasue most of their friends have it

Trillian is actually wha tIuse, and I have accounts on all four messengers, but I usually only use AIM, ad to not kill my connection speed. Although Trillian does have WAY too many bugs, I like how I can choose to log all of my convos.

I hate AIM because it 1) looks worse than MSN 2) takes up a lot of memory, which makes my comp slower.
