I was thinking a certain key or button in game would show the hp of all units on the field at that time or just your units on the field. This would be very helpful to me and probably many other when we try to stratagize.
Instead of moving the mouse back and forth figuring out which unit can do what.
Then to deactivate it just press the icon again.
Simple, effective. Thanks for your time Aro.

The hp's are displayed already.......
That's obvious.

What he was asking for is a button to press that shows all units HP at the same time.

Which is a small, but useful suggestion.

And the button functions are explained on the website.

But the popups make it easier for newbs to understand what the buttons do.

This would allow for people to quick scan their forces. Small conviences are what make a good game better.

Dude, what this is suggesting is useless, moving your mouse isn't that hard. Too many functions cluters a game.

Not if you make it a function key or a /hp command.

No clutter, and only there if you want it to be.

Yes, and the pop up windows with descriptions are clutter.

Seed has proven he doesn't mind a bit of clutter for more functionality for newer players.

I would say it's because Seed is a designer, not a coder.

Scroll, stop starting arguments with people. You are always wrong. This function does not create clutter. It is useful.

Nah it is clutter. It's just useful clutter.

Oh, come on!

Is it really that hard to remember one extra command?

So he goes from clutter to not wanting to confuse people.....

Yup. How many straws you have from all the grasping so far?

Too much work for something that can be achieve by just scrolling your mouse over the units.

Ok, so here we have 4+ forum vets, liking the idea. And two complete forum noobs... Whose opinions don't count.
I'm not being lazy. It just make it easier to evaluate your forces.
Scroll lock, You've been here two months for the most nobody cares about anything you say.
Midnight walker, accomplished what you were saying in all 5 of your posts.
All in one coherent post. *Gives kudos to all in thread except Scroll lock*
So scroll lock point being, don't be stupid and argue with people who have been here longer and know what's useful and what's not.

I want to point out that I don't think that it's a bad idea, just that there are many other things that are more improtant that need worked on, and this could easily be done without.

It's ok to ignore scroll. His ego is large enough that any damage dealt to it will be barely noticable.

This is a great idea. It could be controlled by keypress or by a / command, preventing it from possibly being clutter or confusing anyone. More features, when implemented properly, are not clutter. They cannot hurt.
