70 feral druid, and i just love my druid. Get to 15, run stocks, hit 25 and run SM, leveling will go by so quickly.. :)

52. I respecced a lot just because it was boring, I wish I hadn't played it that long before realizing I wasn't going to enjoy it.

I play on Blade's Edge, which as far as I'm aware is an European Server. :( I don't know if I could possibly access any American server, or vice-versa...

Life's a bitch, and gets ridiculously busy. This is one of those times, sadly. :( I'll try to call you in the near future, though. :) Maybe tomorrow night, if I'm free? Course, you could call me too ya know. :wink2:

You can't log in to a Us server if you paid for access to a EU one. I mean you can change your Realmlist.wtf file to allow yourself to log into the EU ones but Blizzard is lame about that.

Im lvling a warrior right now its so fast, once you get charge its so easy. Just put ur talents in arms till you get anger management, and then put them in fury. I kill one thing and still have 30+ rage left over when i have been trying to use rage lol.

Death Knights finally got nerfed in the 60-70 range, much harder to destroy stuff for an hour without eating or drinking. Same with PvP, can't 2 shot plate wearers as unholy anymore.

On the other hand, at 64 I just finished the starting zone quests, the last 5 are pretty much the best ones in the game.

I'm just re-rolling (around 51 now) I've decided that my guild hates me and doesn't see just how useful I am regardless of class. I'm leveling a resto shaman if anything just to get two two 'pre-WotLK' goles completed. 1) get t6 shoulders 2) see Illodin die.

If any one wants to recrute a very knowlegabul DPS, Prot, and even holy to an extent Pally on a Hord PvP server send me a PM I'm more then likely willing to xfer if your raid times are reasonabull... Hell I might even just reroll what ever you need if you can help me get my two goles completed. I mean fuck I've tryed to buy my t6/kill but the #1 raiding guild on my shitty low pop server xfered, I'm in raid two of the -now- #1 raiding guild (and let me tell you this even as a raid/class lead for raid two, raid one doesn't give a shit) the previously and now #2 guild isn't very active any more they got sick of gearing out alt's off-off specs or something I dont really know/care. and the #4 now #3 guild (the one I was vice GM in) simply merged into the now top guild as a shitty half assed raid two.

Yay me. I've been playing t5 early t6 for the better part of a year. but hey, it beats the summoning stone. Believe me I've tried that for a while as well.

WTB guild that I dont carry that has competent players looking for a compotent Pally/Shaman.

Ego has very little to do with it. I've speced jsut about everything and been full t5 geared because I show up, I know my class and I do my job. Ego has very little to do with it... I rarely top many meters but I'm consistently top 5 in the least.

I actually can't stand leveling my druid (it's 58 or 59 now), and I loved leveling my rogue (70). The two funnest classes that I've come across so far are mage and priest, but I can't really get myself to respect a mage, because I've played my rogue for so long :P

I think it's because if they kite me correctly, they just piss me off. And if they don't kite me correctly they're dead before you can blink. And I suck at pvp.

I did the recruit a friend thing to... myself <_< And I've been power-leveling a pally and shaman that way. I had a friend run me through gnomer twice, and got 5 levels for each character out of it. Not to mention a few nice blues. So that's my latest wow distraction.

Oh yeah, the rogue v druid thing. Since I haven't played the druid at 70 yet I can't really say for sure which I like better for raiding. The reason I made the druid in the first place was because I was tired of having limited options (play a combat rogue or... a combat rogue), and druids are just so darn useful in raids.

The only problem is that I HATE leveling it. Maybe I'm doing it wrong, but it is slow and I die a lot and it just sucks. I never remember dying repeatedly on mobs my own level as a rogue, but it seems to happen way too much with my druid. My only excuse is that because it's so annoying I only play it a couple times a month, so every time I go back I've totally forgotten how to play the character. :rolleyes:

well i only die when there's like 3 or 4 on me and I'm too slow to realize that I will go oom before I can kill them and I really should have run away. Or when I have an ADD moment and forget to pay attention to my own health. So I'll be sitting there in kitty form and the mob's about to die but I haven't realized that something came up behind me and started attacking and then I'm like "oh... I'm dead... woops."

I *can* stay alive if I'm on top of things and I'm very careful, but it takes forEVER that way because all the time I'm healing or in bear form I can't really dps. When I'm leveling I don't want to be slow and careful I want to smash through things so I can get to 70 faster.

Make sure that you have nature's swiftness, it makes your next cast an instant one, and gives you and instant heal of 2-3000. ( healing touch )

With three or four on you you should run unless you have a healer behind you.

And in cat form you should be able to kill things quickly before things get out of hand.. as long as you're not trying to take on 4 at once...

What the fastest early leveler class?

Hunters are probably the quickest class to level.
Then other people will have different opinions, but in second place I'd say is a warlock.
Can be slow at first but once you gain some key skills in affliction (dark pact, iHot, siphon life, etc.) you can have literally zero downtime.
I can take on (at 70) 5 opponents with my lock and end at full health and almost full mana.
I can do that basically nonstop.

Then rogues are good, druids I've heard can be (Though I'm not seeing it) and I've heard aoe mages can be as well.

I don't enjoy working at getting better gear even when I do get it.
But yeah, leveling a second character for me (even though I've barely done any of that) has been more like a job than an enjoyment.

I started the game probably about 2 years ago (give or take like 2-3 months, and I've taken breaks totaling maybe 5 months) as a casual player.

I'm not totally sure I'll get the expansion.
I do want to try it, but I don't feel like dishing out money to buy that and another subscription when I might not even play the expansion much at all.

If it weren't for raiding I would feel exactly the same. I love the high end competition, the little bits of proof that my guild a bit better at this game than most others. I love seeing new fights and perfecting them faster than others do. I've dropped wow before for good reasons, and I think it's important to take a break when it's taking over your life or you're just not having as much fun. And honestly I think if all I had to do was the same old boring raids or the same old boring pvp I would quit pretty fast.

They've made it clear they have no intention of ever revamping or adding leveling material.

Faster leveling, the "recruit-a-friend" setup to help skip through the content, the DK starting at 55.

Can't be spelled out any clearer than that. Quite a shame, Dire Maul is still, by far, my favorite instance ever.

Recruit a Friend is brilliant. find a freind, give them a trail pass, let them upgrade and youcan get a new 70 in no time !. you dont have to pay for more accounts or anything... all you need to do if find someone to currptable and babysit them, through your leveling.

they dont even need to pay for any game time time if your quick enough.

you can no longer have a hybrid tank/dps spec. you have to pick one or the other.

Armor has been nerfed.

IMO every one Re-roll pallys. new #1 healing done. Best tank, its still the best AOEing tank but can now hold 1v1 threat, and in PTR (still level 70 just new tallents) Ret pallys are the new "oh fuck here comes a ret pally, better run away" apparently they dont just one shot everything on the Beta but its in the PTR too. cant say what the sustained DPS will be like but the burst is off the wall. Or so I've heard in vent... some times much to loudly...

Yea, with two extra attacks, plus seal of command you can easily get 4+ swings (Or the equivilency of) within 1.6s, combined with the Judgement which is off the GCD, so, yea.

Love the buff on Holy Paladins though a holy shock crit reduces holy light cast speed by 2.5 seconds :) With Lights Grace one instant Holy Light crit ftw :)

Not much changes to rogue in talents or new moves except for we can finally disarm people :P Might stand a chance vs gay warriors now...

Best looking and functional bar mod I have ever used, can't say I like the portraits, but pitbull or xperl can fix that.
I put off using this because I really didn't have much to fill all of those slots with. I just got finished setting it up and to get familiar with it i decided to try and tweak with the settings a little bit... Afterwards, in bar 1(where i'd moved stuff around, and mostly moved everything back to where it was anyways other than the thing that changes icon sizes) i clicked the reset button, thinking that would return settings to their defaults. This happened:

If you unlock the bars you can move them, but that looks like an older version of Bartender, which might make a problem.

I'd always advise choosing a build that suits you.

If you prefer close-quarters combat, go Warrior/Paladin or maybe Druid. Rogues are arguably the best PvP build - stealth and a bunch of stuns and burst dps, but suffer through inability to use heavier armor.4

Mages/Warlocks are fun, and are particularly potent if played properly.

Hunters are meh, imo. They're much better in a support role for PvP, as they are primarily range dps dealers.

start a new account, do recruit a friend with me, on frostmane, get 3x experience. fastest way to power level. :)

yes gear sets for max levels, Tier 4-6. Tokens drop off 25man bosses and can be turned into the gear sets according to which spec your toon is.
Yes you can Bot, yes it is a bannabul offense unless your not stupid and dont get caught. making gold... on my server now that the WotLK has been announced the economy pretty much bows on the Auction House. but farming stuff on the AH is good gold/hour. Buy cheep shit out and put it back up for more. easy mode.

99.999999% of players (at least on my server) use Vent, the built in VOIP pretty much blows.

Actually i'd say the volume is the best part about it, i love how when i press the PTT button it lowers the sound of the game.

You have to play on the same side as the person you've got the 3x exp with, because you have to be playing with them to get the 3x bonus. Just do quests until like, level 30 or something, and then barrel through instances like SM. Idk, it doesn't really matter what you do, you're going to level fast. You'll definitely miss out on the whole "learning to play your class" bit, but who really cares about that?

Rogues cannot burst at all. They fail terribly, I have one and my fiance has a T6 geared one with brut/venge pvp gear for when she goes sub for arena.
The only class/specs that can burst are Ret paladins, Enhance shamans and MS warriors. Sometimes a frosty can pull off a burst if people are too stupid to not see the FN, FB, IL bug attack coming.

They're quite easy on my SP because DoTs, MB, MF spam keeps them down easy and I can Mass Dispell IB which is always funny. :)

Yea, the nerf to WF totem was unnecessary. They still aren't going to deal with our totems being one shotted (THANKS FOR THE BUFFS TO THEM BLIZZARD) which means that 20% haste will be... liek nothing.

Dude, ever since the original pally change to 0 spell damage mana warriors in 2.3 they have been shit imba at dps. In WotLK they are going to be absurd and stupidly OP. I can see it now...

Well you haven't fought me, I've never once lost to a rogue as a pally, as any spec.

As are a lot of pallys.... as are a lot of players.

I think it really comes down to application of abilities as well as skill.

You don't really need to worry as much as you seem to be, about your build, until you get to the higher levels. Just go with whatever looks fun to you for now(I went affliction for leveling). Those builds aren't meant to be something you work towards as you level, they're meant to be something you respec to when you hit the req. level. Anyways, if you're looking at builds, at least make sure they apply to the new 80 lvl cap, because I doubt you'll hit 70 pre wotlk.

It costs progressively more gold each time to do so, but it caps out at a maximum of 50g, which should eventually become no problem for you. It starts at 1g. Your trainer does it for you.
