But really... why the hell would they block Firefox, and from what I understand noone else has had it blocked. I do believe being told by a clueless STUDENT that firefox alows some downloads or something, so it's bad. Bull.
So I was on firefox for about 15 minutes yesterday in school durring my own freetime, yet I was using it for tutorials for one of our programs (GarageBand) which we were told we ARE aloud to do. So why, because I used Firefox do I find myself blocked off of it not only in school, but at home which is where I use it most.

They must of done it durring the day sometime today, through the school server cause they never had my computer. I'm going to go talk to the computer people I think, cause I want Firefox back. I've got all my cookies and favorite sites there... :(

Also...if talking to the tech dept. don't help....start usin some proxy's. Might help. Never had blocked problems before ^_^.

I don't know... it's stupid.
I still am aloud to use Safari and IE. I don't like either.
Or... I could take a different aprouch at this. I know a senior that figured out the administrator password. I could try and get that out of him, and un-block both Firefox, and a few other programs the've blocked. Hell, we can't even fully customize the laptops! We can't even change resolution. And there is a chess game that is blocked, along with other stuff.

I'll talk to the tech people first though...
Maybe there is some other reason the blocked me, but must not be for "inopropriate internet use in the school" since anyone browsing websites for non-school reasons is given a detention, and I haven't gotten that. And it was kind-of school stuff anyways.

Well, not really, since it is the school's property. I only payed 50 bucks insurence, so they can do whatever they want to it I guess. I don't own it.

Hmm... I Think I'm Going To Make This Post In All Caps, Since I'm In A Good Mood, And Maybe I Can Put Someone Else In A Bad Mood? Naw... It Just Looks So Cool.

Anyways, I Did Get Firefox Back. I Talked To The Tech Dude And He Said That They Did Temporarily Block Off Everyone From Firefox, Because People Were Abusing It. How Do You Abuse Firefox? I Asked Him, But He Wouldn't Tell Me, Just Said They Abused It.

But I Guess This Just Shows That I'm One Of The Only People In My School That Uses Firefox... Or At Least Uses It Enough To Actually Go Complain.

Since Noone Else I Talked To Even Realized They Had Not Been Able To Get On.


Oh, And I Had To Restart The Computer In The School For It To Get Fixed, So It's Good I Talked With Them. I Don't Normally Turn My Computer Off At School, Or Even At Home. I Just Put It To Sleep.

Yes, that happens to bottle a lot when he wants to type KILLER SEISURE ROBOTS in the TWS. He uses l's instead of I's and zeros instead of O's. It's ok for three words but you cant exactly do that for a paragraph.

I guess it still is good that people cant post all in caps though. It can get kinda...irritating.
