Battle Matrix

i jus started playing and im already tierd of this game. You people dont do anything for non-members and you onlu bothered to save the members acconts so you could keep on getting money from them, i might come back but dont count on it this game is just like every other game, they act like all members are treated equily, but then after a week you start only paying attention to the people that pay you for a game has not worth the money. Ive had a hard week so im kinda getting ticked off easliy but still. im quiting this game.

I dont think anyone cares if you're going to quit or not
Don't you think so?

No one EVER said that "all members are treated equily" here.

Why should they treat us charity cases equally?

You get what you pay for.

i agree with both of the people that posted if you leave no one will miss you and you sound like a whiner so most poeple dont even want you here

and what you come here and expect them to just give you everything for free when these servers cost a sh!t load to keep up

i mean what are you smokin? if you made a web site with servers wouldn't you want people to pay you for your work?

You know what, I’ve changed my opinion of Battle Matrix.

I don’t want to see such a valuable member of this community leave. After all, even though he doesn’t contribute financially to the game or intellectually to this forum, he plays a critical role to this community: taking up space. What would we do with all of the useless free space in the game that causes so much anguish to us all? Would other moochers come to take his place? Most likely, yes. But, can we really take that risk? I, for one, do not think so.

I suggest we should hold prayer vigils until our bastion of grey returns and graces us with his glorious presence!

Come back to us oh mighty Battle Matrix!

Jingleheimer is correct in his words, for to miss such a valuable community member would be to lose our very lifeblood itself. The Dark Lord foresees much anguish amongst the community if this valued member is lost. Come back to us, friend, come back to the darkness. Please make us whole again, for the pain of loss is too great, even for a Dark Lord.

Your friendly neighborhood Dark Lord,
Wurtil

Furious_Angel, stop insulting my brother wutril, for even though he lacks power, he makes up for his faults in grammatical superiority. And I do hope that the "get a life" insult was meant for myself and not my siblings, for I chuckle and remember gleeful days of Dark Lord Elementary where the phrase "get a life" was used more than I care to think about. Oh such happy and carefree days. . .

I'm sorry if I'm dissapointing you by noting staying in my normal character for this post, but I believe that I have to stand up and say that this issue needs to be dropped. One (or both) of us, if this current path of arguement continues, is going to get cited for flaming, and personally, I enjoy posting on these boards. I offer a truce Furious_Angel, we discontinue the track that this thread is heading on, and act like adults in the future. *Edit: Thank you for understanding, and I will keep my cynicisms out of your posts as well /bow*

The only problem though, the majority of people here seem not to be adults. As you said earlier, Wurtil, such terms as "get a life" are very childish.

The average age of players here appears to be in the 16-17 age range. Perhaps younger. There are likely a lot of players who are 13 and under in the game and on the forums. It's usually easy to tell who they are, or at least who are at such a maturity level.

Personally, I find Wurtil's posts amusing.

Since you brought it up, I do believe that if there is a God, then as my webpage states... God Hates Religion.
The Grate Book of MOO is a religion/cult based on silliness and confusion. It is not a major, organized religion, it never will be, and it was never intended to be.

Obviously, you have no sense of humour, and just wish to create flame wars in the forums.

OK Furious you need to chill, first of all there is no reason that Hlaf-mads site should be considered childish, first of all to build a web site takes at least some intelligence as does analyzing anything like the bible or religion for that matter. Also I agree i find the posts in role playing format amusing and i would not mind seeing more of them. Also even if you hate them leave the poor guy alone, to each his own right?

I remember a saying about arguing on the internet, though the exact words escape me... Hmmm...

In any event, you should just chill out - it's just a game.

Role play? Did anyone say role play? We might need a Dark Lord at our Realm, but a very evil one, and I mean very, but not so powerful so the people of TAO can defeat him... kinda like the golems, evil yet.... weak...

Wurtil

In need of evil I hear, well then there is no subsitute for that which is the Dark Lord Wurtil. My essence abounds with chaotic forms that you, Lord Fury, could not even begin to fathom. But with my almighty humbleness, I must admit that I may be too powerful for your pathetic cause, despite what you may hear to the contrary. If you desire any proof of my abounding villany, then simply ask and I will grant your mortal desire for a demonstration of my exuberant power. Consider this your warning, however, that my thirst for blood reached no bounds, and as such, I will enjoy every moment of your delicious pain.

Your friendly neighborhood Dark Lord,
Wurtil

I can't understand how this guy actually got 24 replies out of a "I'm taking my ball and I'm going home" post. Well, 25 now. The greatest thing we can do to these people is straight out ignore them. That being said. . .

We should seriously consider the concerns of those who leave. The product and play is not perfect and if someone feels that something is unfair, they should be allowed to vent and announce their displeasure.

We don't need to rip on them like small children.
