Wow... this has got to be one of the best wins of my carrer. I got in there fast, and used my Pyros to the max to get my knights in position.

It was a great game on both sides, Morning Star just made a very crucial mistake, which screwd him over. This is why you not only NEVER give up, but also use a chanty, because a chanty

1.) Freaks people out, they tend ot overthink
2.) Can do SO much for you..

You also stall (not use all the time, but just stick around in the game) because-

1.) The longer you wait, the longer your opponent may make a mistake, it may not always happen in every game, but hey it happens pretty often, and it's fun when it does
2.) The longer you wait, the more opportunities that will be presented, and once again, it may be only a 20-40% but still, it's bound to happen...

Yeah, so, quick little lesson :p

But I can't stress enough about the great game it was, and Morning Star played a lights out game, of which I could find almost no holes, untill he made a little mistake, and i exploited it :)

I was shocked after returning for a couple of games to be jumped by a gold with my name. It seems metalcore was also jumped by him, and as golds go, he must be pretty bad.

The blocking for my knights was all kinds of screwed up. Gave up my witch in order to secure his scout & pyro(with dsm bonus on it) early on, and he got my assassin through some screwed up blocking on his dragons part. But it was a fun game, lasted a good little while and he didn't quit until it was over.

I beat this guy yesterday with a frontrow rush, he left after i killed both scouts for nothing. This time was same sides turt. I destroyed him, killed off both scouts, and as you can see my chanty dealt with those 2 stoned knights and stoned DT, other stoned knight was on like 11 or something, i wouldn't have lost another unit.

Buccii had some type of turt minus the stonegolem and I had my middle grey set. Game was pretty back and forth. He basically made the mistake of letting me march my knight straight to his cleric. After taking out his cleric it was pretty much hit and run tactics on my side. He did advance his scout to try and kill chanty, but it was too little too late

He is using some noob stoned rush thingy, well anti, i dunno what you call it it.

I rushed down with scout and knight killing his wisp, than went in with assassin and knight losing my scout but killing his Frosty and cleric and just losing assassin. Backed up by a knight, his knight on wall was dead next turn, DT on 20 something, Other knight 33, and scout 18. /OWNED.

On GL after battling like 15 grays, a gold finally stood up and asked me for a game. The guy asked very politely and acted like it was any other game. He knew I was using default set because I had told him before game.

After we played for a while, with me moving up trying to get close then him pushing me back. I finally got him spread out some so I started the attack, to lure him in though I had to lose a Pyro, DMW and Enchantress but it was worth it. His scouts weren't even close and he had moved all his units up. I took out one of his scouts with my knight and for the next couple of turns I healed and walked towards his stone. I placed myself so that if I couldn't reach his stone I would get his cleric and he didn't even try to protect either. I got his cleric and during all this he was just using his mud to destroy my pryo and scout. I then unstoned him. I healed and then killed his mud, I tried to save my pyro but it died. I moved all my units back while healing and killing his GA. I got that then he started to move in his knight and scout. He went for my scout at first until I let him have a couple of shots at my cleric so that my scout would live. I got his knight then moved my assin up. He shot my assassin and it was over from there =P

Heh, not a win but it was a gg.

He started with the average anti and before the game I told him I was going to be using default. He kept saying that everybody knows Default > Gold (what was he smoking?) but oh well. He started out with a focused attack and stayed on coarse till he started to spread out a bit. This entire time I tried to stay back and play D. I got him in a tight spot where he had to choose between his mud & knight or his DT because I got a sassy bomb ready =). He chose his Mud & Knight. We played a little longer and he got a couple lucky blocks which lead to my defeat.

Default vs grey turt - philipdunlap 1263

He had a 3 knight/dragon/frost/2 scout turt vs my default. I managed to get him on the back foot and storm my knights up. From here I nabbed his cleric with scout/knight/pyro pressure and was lucky to nab his 8 hp frost too due to a pyro block for the cost of a knight, scout, chanty and pyro.

Set up a nice a-bomb to take out his draggy and there was some nice LOS work to keep my cleric alive most of the game. It was a good fun game

Played my first game in weeks the other day, vs. some gold on GL with an opp side stoned turt(won by either 6 or 7, not sure)
Was a pretty good game. He got my cleric early but I just outplayed him after that. Bit of a chance he might be new to the game though, or else he wasn't thinking, as he messed up on one of his LOS shots.
I'm iffy about posting the screenshot until I get my next tourny game in though, I don't want to give anything about my form away...
& I've been paying for the effing grey account, but it was deleted again anyways. I sent in a ticket a while ago and it just told me my account was inaccessible at the time and didn't do anything for me. I don't have the ticket number thing saved in my email - it's in my mom's, so I'll see about getting it tomorrow and send in another ticket.

Knight down bottom is dead next turn, with a normal back hit with my assassin on 3hp, with +70 blocking. Wisp is dead next turn by knight, his scout is on - blocking on 10, Cleric has 2 wait. I think I would pulled the win out, oh and knight near my LW was on on 28. All my units are full, bar my assassin and scout being on 32.

I think i would have pulled it off. But he gave up. Nice win. He was 1269 before it.

Great Game right there, he had a left side anti, and I uhh... well, did my thing, charged in with Knights, and probably the turning point of the game was when I was able to sneak my pyro right in the middle of everything, neglecting his frost, and killing his Cleric. :)

Was a pretty good turtler 1200+ but he made the big mistake by going for my knights when I first charged in with them instead of the Pyros, and the knights took forever to kill so by the time he had killed off one and damaged the second I had killed his Wisp and DT by weakening them and taking out stone with Pyro, from there on I just kept going.

Frost was at 34, Scout near to the Knight is at 6 cleric has 1 turn wait, mudd is about to be chantied, and both Pyros are 2 shots from dead and both ready :)

ok so i was bored and remembered that i havent pwned any golds latley, so i hoped on my gray and looked for golds to jump, then i found one on army with 1400 sumti stats and jumped him
it was my center vs. his side turt
it started out like this:

so we get into to it and i knew i wasn going to be able to do much agianst both hhis scouts, so i killed them :p

now this is where it get's interesting, he froze my knight and hurt my scout bad so i couldn't snipe the frosty out, so i keep the scout back and try goin in with my knight while a heal it and my scout and my frozen knight. he brings my knight down to 7 hp and i retreat and then heal, by that time my scout was full so my next turn i hit his frosty. after i did that, he attacked my scout so i attack his frosty with my knight, knowing he couldnt kill my scout with anything,so i brought it down to like 14hp(this is beacuase i hit it earlier on in the game)after i did that it was all down hill for him from there, well for about 3 or 4 more turns until he surrendered

I took his mud in the beginning for free, then got his dragon by sacrificing my witch and bw. took both of his scouts for free, then he quit before I could finish off his knights.
