Win by 9 against an 1100 gold. I trapped her DSM between her dragon and my knight so it couldn't get my units, ended up killing the dragon before the DSM. went around with two other knights while defending as well. Should have been a flawless, but the DSM blocked a 98%, taking my witch.

A 1200 gold, he used two witches, two scouts, two clerics, 3 knights, and an assassin.

His front facing knight was screwed, his scout could be screwed, depends on the luck. All my units are full except 17 damage to knight.

So, I caught Banffe grey jumping yet again. He jumped me as soon as I put my piece down. He had a turt vs my new test set. He was focused on staying on the inside of his LW or near the wall so I flanked around. I took his cleric and frost as the first two units in trade for a knight and sassy. After that I killed everything:

So, this guy jumps me in legends, and in around 0.5 seconds, he says how shitty I am and that I should just surrender. So around every 5 seconds he's telling me to "fuck off and surrender". I was using a test set, and he got quite a bit of luck. (like three straight side hits on my knight....). Strange how he had nothing to say when I screwed him over.
I was pissed at this kid, so I decided to stay until he surrendered or left, no draw for him. So this is a screenshot of 15 minutes of waiting.

That's technically not true. IF you can play the set right with 1 knight, it can be very effective. I just got lucky that he sucks ass and couldn't pull it off at all.

I think I just typed in two random letters (I often make random names by just hitting the key board, for example, oifud, aso, diofy) and qr just happened to pop up. I'm not a member of the gold jumpers, so sorry if I shouldn't be here, but it seemed more appropriate to post this here than in the bragging rights thread. So here it is: Me (1007 stats) vs billkat5 (1160 stats). This was on legends too, btw.
I saw from the set that I had a first turn advantage so I LW'd his witch and he proceeded to attack my scout. When I eventually froze the attacking knight, he shot my SCOUT I had frozen as well to get the knight. He had a clear shot at my chanty, which would have ended the game right then and there, but instead took out my 10 hp scout. So...yeah. Here's screenie of the ending:

I thought I might make my first post here. This gold (Apollobstr 1260+) jumped me with a furgy turt (he subbed knight for muddy so it made it much easier). I started off by setting up the chanty bomb and getting ready for him to attack. All he did was furgon his surrounding and then wait for me to attack. I spent quite a few turns passing and waiting for him. All he did was sneak around his big shrub fort with his scout trying to sneak up on me, while I just turned a unit to counter. Finally he tried to set up some type of flank sending in a knight/scout from both sides with his DT lingering in the middle and he also moved his frosty up. Traded sassy with a scout and blocked off the knight. He moved in DT and kill my DMW while I killed his DT. He then tried to move in with the other knight/scout but I stopped him pretty easily. He got a lucky shot on my scout (26% hit) to kill it but it made no difference. I moved in with a knight and killed his cleric. Then he decided to play some hardcore defense clericless and started to shrub like crazy. Moved in slowly, started to wear down units, gg.

A Legends dropless game vs some weird modified NJ rush. I just slowly let him come to me, froze a few units, then killed them to finally get him down to the muddy.

I like the looks of this thread. Beating a gold with only grey units is a tru way to prove your skill. I have beated lots of golds in the past but I never knew about the forums until just recently. As such, I would like to post my first wins since joining the forums.

I got jumped by this nub after challenging "ONLY GOOD PEOPLE" to a game on floor 2. Unfortunately, he was not very good :D. GG however, he definately played much better then I expected. His set was absolutely terrible, but he was not the worst gold I have ever played.

My leader Dark*Dragon decided to test out my skills when we were talking today. So we played a grey game. I traded my scout for his cleric early in the game and sent my witch in to kill his witch and damage his knight/scout. He decided to leave my witch alone for 2 turns and she got a lucky front block to live for one last turn. I used my witches last breath to deal a crippling blow to his knight and chanty. One thing lead to another and I ended up winning by 7. GG dark, u truly are one of the best Ive played, the lucky witch block really clinched it for me.

For those who like to read reports :

The game started with my center, wardless against his center ( he had a lw , a dsm ,armor,frosty etc all set to the back behind his lw) So i realized i had to rush him from the beginning coz once he armors im a goner. So i rushed madly getting my knight frosted but never cared and rushed some more until he was down to armor and dragon. at this point i had 4 units and i made a mistake and he took two more units, still, i managed.

moral of the story : Dont grey jump..and lose.

Mich is probably one of the best grays I have ever played. He could be The Random Grey but I highly doubt it. I remember him and I going at it for top gray in GL about 2 years ago.

I've been playing a little on GL in the last couple of weeks on random accounts. This guy constantly jumps greys, so I decided he needed to be taught a lesson. I lured him into jumping me by setting right after he got out of a game.

He had a turtle, set to stone cleric, two scouts and mud, with a wisp and frost next to his cleric, plus an lw and dragon. I had an aggressive rush form. He got first turn and stoned. I rushed in like mad for his wisp/frost, knowing I'd get destroyed if I couldn't get them. I managed to kill both, but lost a knight and scout in the process, with another knight wounded. I went for his cleric, but he made a good move to save it, leaving me looking like I was about to lose another knight for nothing. So with a little fancy play, I managed to corner one of his scouts. At that point it was:

Him: Lw, cleric, stone, scout, mud, dragon. Nothing stoned, pretty much everything healthy and safe at this point. His mud was advanced close to the center of the board though, close to my mages, cleric and bw.
Me: Only one knight left but healthy, assassin, two pyros, witch, bw and cleric.

He then advanced his mud and pounded, unfortunately right after I healed. I hit his mud as hard as I could, which was only so much. I ended up losing a pyro, but with some fancy footwork managed to get the mud without losing anything else to his dangerously advanced scout. He moved his scout farther forward and went for the cleric kill. I managed to stop him, and kill his over-extended scout. He did get my witch first though. Then it was:

Him: Dragon (stoned and full HP), stone, cleric, lw.
Me: Knight, assassin, pyro, cleric, bw.

He advanced his dragon and killed my bw. My knight was a little ways from his dragon but only 3 from a side hit on my assassin, which was at 30. I healed. Dragon at 2. I went for the side shot and got it. Dragon at 1. I pyroed my assassin. Dragon at 0. And then, well, see for yourself. :)
