the unit details need to be updated. I'm not sure if seed is the only one who can do this, but there are things that need to be added.
For instance, the mud golem's 2nd attack should be mentioned, and it'd be nice it had diagrams and info etc. Same goes for the new assassin attack. I also think the pyro's page should mention its relation to the DSM.
This is a game of tactics... and it's hard to be tactical when you are unaware of the mud golem's most popular attack, or the assassin's new infinite dmg attack

I never understood the "secret attack" idea myself.
Adding that info would be very very helpful to anyone who actually reads the page to learn how to play.

The way i see it, the fact that these things aren't mentioned on the page is encouraging people not to read the page to learn how to play.

*bump*
I don't think this problem is being taken as seriously as it should. By having 'secret' moves, you are discouraging new players, rewarding old, more experienced players (who's experience alone should be more than enough to defeat a newer opponent). We are going to always get posts about 'bugs' of assassins doing 99dmg and 'hackers' who can make their screen shake with the mud golem until the unit details are updated.
I'm also getting tired of teaching people how to do the 2nd attacks... it takes a long time, and you usually have to gain their trust first so you can position properly, (let you hit their assassin (with the right units so you dont accidentally kill it)). It would save a whole lot of my time if i could just say "read the website", but instead, i'm burdened with teaching these people. And i can't blame them for not knowing, cause how the hell are they supposed to know?
I don't imagine it would be very difficult... add some text that explains the secondary attacks.
EDIT-- and maybe if the sticky was updated, i'd stop bringing this up ... *hint hint*

eh, its a nice perk to being experienced in game. There's not many of those. I say keep the "secret" attacks "secret."

eh?
Do the attack on them.
When they say "WOW, how did you do that?"
Reply: "get your assassin below 5HP and hold down your attack on the assassin herself."
end of story.
if they say, "I can't get it to work"
Reply: next game, attack your assassin in the back twice with your scout, then try it.
They will then usually exit to go practice it.
You are being generous to show them, then complain that you have to show them. You dont.
You are too nice, you!

Usually in such cases i'm playing as a gold against a grey. I dont have an assassin in my setup, so i can't show them. And since there are so many buttmunches out there saying things like "press f5 to get a free dragon", they understandably dont belive me when i say "you're assassin can do 99dmg if you just let me hit her a few times!"
I suppose you're right though. I guess i'm getting too worked up about it, i just not show anyone else how to do it. The problem is that the newbies will never learn that way, and we will get fewer good players to play against.

true, but its also not like the assassin move should be something that ur setup is oriented around.
I've only had it used against me once in actual fighting (i.e. not having me or my opponent intentionally taking a few turns to whack at our assasins) and I don't see it being used to orient ur whole setup.

in my grey set-up I have self attacked my assassin and parked it on the side.
it made my opponent shift his whole formation and expose the other side, which I marched through. It is more psychological warfare than anything else.
But then, I have been known to use 5 enchantress (http://www.tacticsarena.com/forum/showthread.php?t=14088) set-ups for the fun of it as well. Its all about the fun. If its not fun trying to help people who never understand, dont bother.
I do appreciate Bobo's willingness to try and help newbs learn the game. More than 90% of the rest of the players.

I've used the assassin attack twice. Once it was when I had a knight, scout, assassin against two knights, and needed to take a knight out fast, so I let him hit my assassin to 22, then pulled it back and thwacked it with a knight.
The other time my opponent led with a pyro shot that hit my assassin along with some other units.... I shot my assassin and his pyro with my witch, meaning he had to sac his pyro to kill my assassin with his other pyro, letting me break through his wall.
And also, the threat of the a-bomb is what makes it so tactical, not the actual use of it (sort of like a LW)

I disagree. The assassin has quickly become one of the most tactical units.
