Ok, this is all the information that i have found so far on this game.
Ok, to start off.
To set your units, after you sign in, you click on settings. There you will find "your half" You click and drag to move units, and to get a unit not on the board (at the bottom) you have to take a unit off first, unless you have less than 10 already. Also, to the right is your avatar... to change it take the character you want it to be and drag and drop it there (don't worry, it will go back to where it was)
Hint: try to not place your cleric in the middle "top". a well placed witch could get that in the first turn. remember, your cleric is like your king. without it you'll die.
remember, when setting your characters you want to consider the stradegy you want. You want to move in fast? or are you more defensive? consider every aspect. experiment. remember, you can always change it.
After that, to join a game just click on a board (to type just start typing) and start playing!
MAJOR HINT:
There have been a few things i have noticed in the games i have played.
1. it seems that the position of your player affects your ability to block. If you get the attack from the "face", you have your greatest chance to block. You have no chance to block your back though.
2. You can attack your own units.
3.you can click on the different "steps" (top right corner) to change to a different step NOTE: if you attack before you move, you have to move with that character. if you change the direction of a character, no matter what the turn is over. (SEE THE COMBAT SYSTEM LINK AT THE HOME PAGE)
if there is anything i miss please tell me (i'm not getting into stradegy... i'm saving that for when i make a clan)
ADDITIONS-
If your Enchantress (or Frost Golem if you are a Gold Member) uses their paralysis on [an (or some with enchantress) enemy unit(s),] remember that this will go away once the unit who casted the paralysis is attacked.
So, if my Frost Golem paralyzes [person]'s Knight, but then [person]'s Scout shoots my Frost Golem, the paralysis spell will break.

QUESTIONS-
How do u get new units?
"Once per day, there are chances to WIN a random unit when you are in battle! This includes Clerics, Pyromancers, Dark Magic Witches, Barrier Wards, and Enchantresses. This is open to all players"
-Tacticsarena
how do u use the lightning ward?
You just click on the attack step, and then on the lightning ward. Then click on where you want to attack.
Is it possible to get new units, or more of one type of units..?
Yes
how do u create a new account? i cant find the links/whatever anywhere....
All you do is click "Play Online" on the top of the screen you are reading right now, then click "Play Tactics Arena Online". After that, you click "New account" and just type in a name and password. You have to wait before the server isn't full to see if the name was accepted.

I think the only way to keep it on top is for people to reply to it. Ask questions, people! He's worked hard on this!
Might want to add this:
If your Enchantress (or Frost Golem if you are a Gold Member) uses their paralysis on an enemy unit, remember that this will go away once the unit who casted the paralysis is attacked.
So, if my Frost Golem paralyzes xxxx's Knight, but then xxxx's Scout shoots my Frost Golem, the paralysis spell will break.
Also, you can only paralyze one unit at a time. (I just lost a game last night by trying to paralyze both of his 'sassins :o )

Notice about cleric in back center, if you place your lightning ward front center you don't have to worry about big mean witch frying it.

You can Paralyze more than 1 unit at a time with the enchantress. Frost Golems can only get one at a time

Errors :
1) Its once every 3 days (72 Hours) for unit drops.
2) There is no 'seems' about it you get 100% of your blocking ability forward, 50% to either side and 0% behind except for pieces which have 100% blocking.
3) You do not *have* to move if you attack with that character (its -1 or -2 of max recovery if you don't)
4) You glossed over the fact that what you said of paralyze is true for *all* focus units.
5) Your unit drop list is off, there is no barrier ward available and you can get Knights and Mud Golems on drops.
I may sound like an ass, but I am one.
Try to be accurate in the future...if almost half of what you say is wrong next time I suggest you don't try to continue.

A couple corrections to your corrections there Eldar:
The current drop list is: "Clerics, Pyromancers, Dark Magic Witches, Barrier Wards, Mud Golems, and Enchantresses"
Notice the absence of Knights, and the presence of Barrier Wards, this was taken from the play online page.
And you glossed over the fact that reductions in recovery have a set formula:
Half recovery rounded down, if the unit only moves.
Half recovery rounded up, if the unit only attacks.
Full recovery if the unit moves and attacks.
Units that cannot move always get full recovery when they attack.
I may sound like an ass, but really i'm just a buttplug. *kinky*
Try to be accurate in the future.
