this is a good idea
its pretty well balanced and everything.

omg, its a focus attack green, its just like a chanty's paralyze. its a bit overpowered i think kyir, and the aging actually makes it worse.
yhea but if dispupt the focus enough it wont do anything
and wih the whisp poison dmage would bring it out of focus
is anyone going to comment on how "We dont need even stronger DSM's"

im saying that if u pull off the focus and it ages the unit actually gets weaker.
oh, and i didnt even think about the stronger dsms, that would be insane, i think thats pretty much the end of this unit.

On the contrary - a fascinating idea. Dragon aging makes sense, and the focus is one way to do it. The fails-if-disrupted makes me think of cocoons and shedded skin.. not exactly vanilla dragon, but acceptable.
Another way would be to have the creature start with 1 movement, range 1, power 7, readiness 6, and a quarter of the dragon tyrant's max HP. Each time it acts, it gains movement, power, lower readiness, more HP, and better range, until it reaches maturity - at which point it will be a mature Dragon Tyrant that does not count as two units in your formation.
The title got me a bit worried though.. Dragon Whelp for me means a red creature that gains +1/+0 for every red mana you use, but is destroyed if you spend more than RRR this way during one turn. :-)

i think instead of it aging when you use it, it should have to go into a special state of focus...hibernation or something.
and kensai why aint u looked at my archmage yet, i put a fair amount of thought into it

Sounds good - I wonder what the author says?
i guess you know your mtg cards kensai, that is were i got the name from, i like the each time it acts idea though, i think il edit now
but i dont see why the dragon would hybernate (its still a good idea) i just like the acting and it gains stats for some reason

i think it's a bit underpowered... seeing that it takes 3-4 moves for it to be strong. But it has a lot of potential... pretty good for turtle games it guess, but useless against rush.
One question, on the blocking it says 17% side. Does this side blocking increase as it ages too? And does that mean it starts with 17% side blocking, with 0%front?

is there a limit on how many times it gains stats? there should be.
untill it has as much stats as a Dragon Tyrent

but it wont last long enough.......any player..... nOOb or expert would head straight for it, there are alot of units that could kill it in one hit, and in the first turn.......
I love the idea though :)

but the concet is cool. maybe to help it, every time it kills a unit it gets double or triple stat bonus that turn?

would it count as one unit or two, and would it grow or age inside a barrier
why wouldent it age inside a barrier, and no, as it aged it would not take up more space
