Very simple idea. A knight with A cape and a large two handed sword. His lack of a shield makes him more prone to damage. A seasoned warrior with many battles under his belt. It would add new strategy to the knights.
Captain-
55 Hp
15% Armor
28 power
1 square range
60% in front, and 30% on sides
3 square movement range
2 turn recovery
The captains incredible leadership give all knights boosted confidence, to show this all the knights sided with the captain gain +4 power and gain +5 armor. And When the captain dies so does the knights morale, to represent this when the captain dies the knights lose -4 attack power and -5 armor ( i.e. power 22+4=26, captain dies, 22-4=18) & ( i.e. armor 25+5=30, captain dies, 25-5=20)

It's one thing to add to the other units, but never penalize them.
Also, only Magic attacks are unblockable. All melee attacks are blockable.

Well what about the pyro mage, he penalizes the dragon tyrant to strengthen his mages. And it adds more stratagy, players can go out and use there Captain in intense combat, but they risk penalizing there knights if he dies.

i really like this idea :D . i had a similar unit in mind but ur unit sounds pretty cool. it even sounds better than mine.
my idea was it was a Dragon Slayer. that it would act like an ordinary knight(have its same specs) but transform into this new warrior if a dragon was present on the field. He then would add new specs to the other knights.
just wondering also since u have a captain on the field would he affect all melee attack units like the assassin and the scout?
Scout isn't melee. Melee means close combat, like swords or axes or fists.
Anyhow, knights are already pretty powerful and giving them any stat boost would overpower them, dispite the fact that they lose stats if this unit is killed.
However, it's pretty hard to kill with 60 HP, 80% blocking and 35 armour. Anyone with any sort of brain could keep this alive long enough for the knights to slaughter an entire army.

Thats what i was afraid of......
So... i lowered his blocking, armor and health a little to make him more balanced, And to represent the fact that he has no shield.

how bout 0 blocking instead, because a scouts blocking (what the captain has) is relatively high.
