Grey Account Wipes!

Due to a mass flux of new players we will have to clear our server records early this month, this is a reminder to all Grey (free) account holders that a server wipe will be done within the next 24 hours. We hope you enjoyed playing on your TAO account and will consider upgrading your account to Gold status. Please view the update below for more details as well as our YEAR END PROMOTION which we hope alot of borderline players will try out considering it gives you lifetime Gold Account server access for only 5 dollars. Read posting below for more details.

It's interesting because I just spoke with my mother on the telephone about 5 minutes prior to writing this and she asked what the date was.
I knew it was the 17th then!

Take a screenshot of your stats as well as your units.
There's no reason for your account to be deleted if you've submitted payment so early in the day.
I'm sure that whoever is upgrading accounts will be doing so more than usual today since the server wipe is scheduled for today.

No, it's early this month. Usually at the begining of the month. We just had one 2 weeks ago, but the new accounts piled up fast.

I mean, it's not like you submitted payment 2 minutes before the wipe!
Generally the wipes aren't done until pretty late at night for me, around 11 PM - 2 AM or so.

It's only 5:30 PM right now, so I think you'll do fine.

However, I think it would have been a better idea to do it with the greys!
If greys signed up for gold and were deleted anyways, their stats would have been recorded in the page ranking.

It's easier to take the top 100 out of 3000 accounts than it is top 100 out of 40000 acounts.

I PAYED for a GL and Banff, and got only 1 rev, when the GL went down, he took away my rev stat!

I am so pissed...

Well if you took a screenshot of your stats you may be able to have them restored with a ticket.
