I played a fellow named Mr. Mud in the first round of the tournament. He's a bright guy, and a good guy.

He has asked me if he could join the Something Wicked branch on Banff... I told him that to my knowledge, we don't have a SW on that server... and I suggested he come here and ask permission to open a clan on that server using our name... kind of like the Banff side of Something Wicked.

I know we are GL based... but I figure it probably can't hurt us to branch out. How do the clansmen feel about this?

I would be fine with Mr. Mud joining. On another note, GL is full of n00b 1337ist bastard golds (as I so eloquently put it to bludhoundz). Not you guys, of course. I was trying to get a game against a gold and said I could beat //coolkid (sub-1000 gold), and all 7 or 8 of the golds that were on at the time rose up against me and started ripping on me, saying I was a trash-talking n00b, my stats are only 770, blah blah blah... bastards. Ugh.:mad:

lol, i never played any of the FF games :O) but I did play Diablo 2 for a while (enough for me to get 150 bucks in ebay!). Now playing with my old guild and 100 day-played character in Everquest (2400 hours and counting). Hmm, I am having a lot of fun in EQ atm, and going Spain this summer, but maybe someday I will return to TAO and kill Renegade :P

Something Wicked isn't from Harry Potter. As you can see from the quote, its from Macbeth. Probably that song in the trailor for Harry Potter is the exact same quote. I'm sure that the creators of SW didn't make a clan from Harry Potter.

Frankly I'm inclined to let TAO deeply slide deeper into the deep reaches of the deep hell that its deeply buried itself in. But hey, post when you're on and I get with you on that. If you are half as crazy as the rest of us then you'll do fine.

Something Wicked is probably one of the best clans (or was, is, will be again, whatever) that ever graced TAO. All of our members are famous and all atleast high caliber players if not outright 10 ten contenders.

To whomever is in charge here: I'm pretty sure my old account that was wiped when I went grey and took some time off to do the "military thing" held the control of the Something Wicked clan... is it possible for me to either reactivate the account, or renew a clan with the same name? I dont think any of our original players still have active accounts that are in the clan

You could re-name it differently. Like..-Something Wicked- or just subsitute the c in Wicked with a c from Character map. 0.o

As long as no current member on the server has it as a clan, you can make it again. The one of each name only applies to current clans, not all past ones.
