Need a forum making ask me..........

Hey, are any of you golds are thinking of making a clan and wants a forum for it?

If you are I am on a current term of where I will make a forum for any guy or girl who wants a forum and wants a decent forum. I am currently making forums for people who wants one for their new clan. I will only be doing this as a trial period of 2 weeks. After this time I will either stop or carry on depending on how successful it is. I will be starting the forum buisness on the date of 28th December 2004 and probably finishing on the 12th January 2005. So if you would like a forum for your clan, tell me your gold account name and server and I can make you one and give you the link for it here.

I have a good forum for The Last Nightmare (my clan on rev). I am also currently making one for The White Riders, they already have one but I told thrasher about my work and he said he would love to have a look at what I can do and he will consider using it.

Well, anyway, if you want a forum for your clan then simply just give me a call on this thread between the dates I have given and I will see what I can come up with.

If you are wondering how long I will be constructing your forum, it will normally be between 6 hours or 72 depending how busy I am and how many I am currently working on.

Well like I said, for those of you who do not know how to make a forum or simply just cannot be bothered with how long it is and how annoying it is, then just come and ask me and I will see what I can come up with.

I've had both.

phpBB: Fully Modded. Has Cash mod, and shop mod.
MetaBB: RPG Forums, which has built in games.
phpBB 2: Just looks cool...
vBulletin: It's okay, but you have to pay.
simplemachines: Looks okay, and I think uses YaBB.
YaBB: "Yet another bulletin board."
InvisionFree: I guess it's okay, but it doesn't have much mods.
Proboards: uses YaBB.
Goliath Boards: Proboards bootleg.
Those are all the kind of forums I have in mind right now...

And if you want an rpg game, then the MetaBB is fine. But it still has a poorly structured admin system.I had one for a while.
Yes, SMF is a take of off an old YABB engine, but it is completely reworked, and is one of the top of the free engine forums.

One thing I would like to remind people who have others make forums for them is the fact that you are giving ownership control of your forum to whoever it is who makes it for you.
This means they can delete your board any time they wish.

If you want a board for your clan, there are several options for you.

Many of the above also have paid upgrades.

I suggest you make your own forums, and then assign anyone who wants to mod it or skin it as an Admin. This way you retain the root Admin yourself, and are the ultimate authority on your forums.

No, I didn't make the skin, yes, Simple Machines is a free download (and easy to install) It used SQL database, and comes fully loaded. Mods are easy to install (only requires uploading the zipfile and hitting install.)
Has Admin, Mod, and Global Mods, member groups definable by type or posts.

I had one but it was at hollosite.com (I guess it's owned by 100webspace... cause that's wher emy acount went.). Cept, they said 99% uptime (something like that) and the whole hollosite.com isn't working now.
