Moderators?

how do you become a moderator?
do you have to do something special?
or is it just another game ruled by the guys with money?

lol, well considering that i pay the 5 dollars for the game like all the other gold members, I'm not sure that money is the deciding factor here.

all the other mods/admins actually run the game and site and stuff, so they're exempt...

I'll just assume you meant me then, since im the only non-staff-type-mod-fellow...
Yea, im a mod because I've been a part of this community since the beginning and have shown a rather active interest in the community i guess. I am vocal, i endlessly run the forums and just enjoy this community. I have no advice as to how to become a moderator, I was offered the position, I didnt ask for it. Just play the game and be active ;)

I think the 500+ posts Azn_Guy has may have something to do with it, especially since his posts are usually friendly and articulate. :)

They don't take every single person who showed up early.

They took somebody who spends a lot of time here, is respectful, and seems to have a good temperment.

They don't want people that would complain, call things crap, or be disrespectful of the site or the owners.

He's also literate. You might want to check into that. :p

Anyway, why would you want to be a mod? It would be annoying after a while. All us regular people constantly complain, whine, and demand answers, and it's the mods that have the pleasure of dealing with that. :)
