Ranking updates

I notice the rankings were last updated at the Armageddon server on Sun Dec 21 20:06:22 GMT-0700 2003.

Maybe they should add a disclaimer like "Actual future battle ranking may vary for these predictions."

The guy at the bottom is 28-3.
I'm currently 25-2.

Kinda hurts to know in advance that on that date I'll have a worse record. :)
And I was doing so well for a bit there.... :p

Ok, I got my bad little self up to 28-0-2. It says on the 21st, I still won't be ranked, and a guy that's 28-0-3 is, so it seems I'll be suffering some defeats soon.

You know, I don't mind if they don't keep the rankings in real time. But why do they have to project them ahead of time instead of just being behind in the updating?

Is there any way we can get stats that update faster? Or at least aren't predictions? :)

My advice is to ignore the rankings because they are meaningless.

I have better record than people ranked as well (er, about 95-8-14 or so), but I don't really care, just like to play the game.

Now, if we had a TOURNAMENT, then I would care!

But screwing around with setups, taking chances when I shouldn't, trying strategies that don't pan out, that's standard operating procedure, and if it leads to a loss, well, so be it.

I refuse to be a ranking ho. ...ho, ho...

I just play for fun.
Don't care about wins.

I just think it's something cool to have.

But the main thing is, it's hilarious that they have the rankings from December 21/03 up right now. :)
