The length of time you have on your time clock depends on the ammount of units you have. If you have 9 units left, you have 9 units you can move/attack, and 9 situations you have to think about. Therefore, you need more time to think about what to do. If your opponent has 4 units left, he doesn't need as much time to think his turn than you do, so his timer will be shorter than yours.
If you have trouble with a guy stalling, just take his units out, and his timer ammount will do down. Just have patience, and if its to the severity of 2 hours, notify an Admin.

What I find is helpful is let the guy know that them stalling isn't bugging you. Just tell them things like, "Take your time man. I've got all the time in the world." After I say this, they usually stick around another turn, then leave. You can also threaten them that you'll tell an Administrator if they keep stalling. Both of these have worked in the past for me.

Stallers happen. Get used to it. They will not be changing the ammount of time on the clock.
If it's on the sticky to not suggest, it's there for a reason. Just because you are "special" doesn;t mean the Do Not Post It Again doesn;t apply to you.

I had this problem too. I got in a battle with a person who started to stall after he knew he was gonna lose. So I put up with it for 2 turns before telling him: The longer he stalls the better a chance I had to win the upcoming drop. I told him the drop should be any minute now and he left, easy as that. :D

You all think the timer is bad eh :P
Imagine being around when TAO had no timer (on legends)
and ask if just under 2 mins is such a long wait :P
Because that really isn't much of a time, besides people always need time to think if there playing serious games.
