Increased Off Field Storage Space

As you add new units, there is no compensation to long time veteran players like me that have (and use) a large amount of drops. At this point, I have 0 pyros, 1 assassin, 8 witches, 7 chanties, 2 clerics, and 1 bward, as well as all nondroppable units. I have already dumped 3 pyros, 2 assassins, a bward, and a cleric. This is annoying, because it restricts my ability to make creative forms.

First, in creating more and more units, you are limiting our ability to have drops. Also, if there isn't enough floor space for enough drops to create interesting forms, then why have drops? A simple increase to 30 units offield should A. Reward veteran players for staying long enough to accumulate drops, B. Allow for actual use of drops, because more can be accumulated, and C. Would not be very impacting on bandwidth or the like because not many people reach the 25 limit.

Unlike many updates requested to benefit grays, this one benefits the veterans and long time players that give this website most of its money. Please reward us with a bit more room to enjoy the game.

Plus, it wouldn't have a significant impact upon gameplay, so there is little reason to oppose it.

how many of us really use all the pieces on our sideboards? I've had mine full since pretty much last Jan...and I don't think I've used half of the units for more than 1 setup, if at all.

what would be kool is if there was a 25 offboard selection for dropped peices and then a seperate board for non-drop peices. you could then switch between the 2 offboard selections plus if you account gets hacked you wont lose things such as dragon or gold peices because these peices could not be dumped

Let's see, I'll count all the undroppables: 3 knights, mud golem, frost golem, stone golem, ambusher, wisp, BR, Dragon (counts as two on field, and since I use it so often, I'm counting it as two here), Furgon, Lward, DSM, 2 scouts. 16 undroppable spots.


19 spots remaining. I have 1 pyro, 1 assassin, 2 clerics, and 1 bward, because these are all necessities for testing forms. This leaves 14 left.

In those 14 spots, I have 8 witches and 6 chanties. However, I would love to build these up, because 10 witches is actually a usable form, and 10 chanties is just too cool. But with this restriction, I can't do that.

I am a paying customer. I have been paying for many months. Why have drops if you can't form formations with them?!?!?

Edit: And what about people with a bit more even distribution? In those 19 spots, 4 assassins, 3 pyros, 2 clerics, 2 bwards, 4 witches, and 3 chanties is the max that fits. This means that someone can make some good forms, but nothing too good without losing the ability to use other forms. This is wrong.

Actually for the mods (I haven't seen it myself cause Bills hasn't given me my extra units yet) when you get too many units your drop bin says recruit. You click on it and swap the units from your offboard with the one in the recruit bin i suppose. So it's already programmed in it just isn'tgiven out to everybody.

A gold account has 23 units (dragon as 2) that leaves 12 dropped units that can be held with the original units. I think because more units have been developed and the amount of units you can hold hasn't got any bigger then there should be a change so that more can be held. But how many? 45 units in total?

Duffman, the recruit option only ensures you don't lose a new unit if your board is filled. It is not extra storage space. I use this often so I don't have to keep my offboard at 24, which would be even harder.

I think even 35 would be understandable, although 45 would be preferable. Grays could have only 20 or 25, as they don't have a chance to build up. But for paying customers, we need to get our money's worth!

aye, the recriut thing just means u've recieved more units via drops than u can fit onto ur side bar. If u want to use these units, u gotta delete some on ur sidebar.

I had to delete about a dozen or so lol to get my GA and wisp when they came out.

How about you gotta fork out another $1 for the extra space. It's more believable and noone really needs the extra space. I can fit 6 beasts and 3 frosts easily (and that snappy trophy ;) ) and still make any form I'd seriously want to use :cool:

Almost all teh suggestions here are sort of "IF they actually listened and wanted to improve the game, here's what we think..." but since there hav been like...2 suggestions taken from this forums and put in, its all really specualtion.

On tao ruler its just stupid, I don't have a Wisp because my drops are full and I dumped an unecessary unit and it still didn't come in. But I don't mind, I wouldn't use it even if I had it. I hate the Wisp. I don't use it in turtle or rush at all.

On both accounts the drops are full, we need a change on the maximum amount allowed.

to get the wisp, u must delete ALL the drops that happened between when ur sidebar got full, and when u got the wisp. That can be one, or a dozen units.

Well, it should be easy to get through all those units to get to your wisp if you can see the unit coming in, just delete one that matches it, if you can't, well then Seed is just silly. Also, this is one of the best suggestions ever, if not *THE* best suggestion ever. The off-field storage should be huge, like 50 units or something. There would just have to be a button near the avatar change section that says like Box A and Box B to toggle between the break up of 25 units off field in each box. Also, it could be implemented, and it wouldn't affect greys at all as I'd like to see the grey with enough free time to fill up their off field in a month.

Honestly, offfield space should be at least 30 or 35, 25 is just too restrictive for veteran players. And aren't those the peole you should be trying to please the most? The ones that have been playing for months and months?
