The Dominator

Ok First One:
THE ASSASSIN EXPLOSION
1. Get Your Assassin Down To 4 Or Lower Health
2. Go Up To Where You Want to Kill
3. Instead Of Attacking, Hold Your Mouse Down on The Assassin Until the Lighted Square Fades To Normal Colors (Aprox. 5 sec.)
4. Let Go And the Attack Will Do 99 Damage To The 4 Squares Around Her And It'll Kill Herself
The Best Self Sacrifice!!!! :D
The Second:
THE LIGHTNING-FURGON COMBO
1. Set Up Your Players So That Your Cleric Is Protected By A Furgon, Lightning Ward, And A Assassin
2. Get Your Assassin Ready For The Explosion (Just Step 1)
3. Start Making A Barrier Of Shrubs With Your Furgon
4. If A Guy Comes Near Attack It With Your Lightning Ward
5. If you get Really Desprate, Put Your Assassin In Between The Most Powerful Guys Near Your Cleric And Do The Explosion.
Best Protection I've Come Up With Yet...
Got Anymore? Post 'Em Up Here!!!

What if the assassin can't explode yet and gets killed? The assassin's new attack is getting more and more harder to use because most people know about it and know how to beat it.

The ass bomb is far easier to use in a gray game than a gold. I havent seen a good gold ever use an assassin, when there are units so superior to it available.
using the assassin as a cleric bodyguard that is ready to explode is a weak idea (no offence)
1) she is so easy to kill with a pyro/witch/archer/mud when she has 4 hps or less, even with shrubs all around
2) you cant heal when she is ready to explode or you will ruin your carefuly designed assassin state, so she is guarding a good for nothing cleric
3) if you get her to 4 hps, and barrier her then you answer to both 1 and 2 (you can heal and she cant be killed easily) but you then cant use the barrier to help a witch/scout/frosty/enchantress/cleric/etc that needs it
and you also need extra turn for it; the opponent if clever will use the free turns you give him to cause havoc, or move to superiour locations, or he may think ahead and destroy your assassin before it is barriered (which is so obvious)
4) even if all goes well, an incoming force get close and you explode and destroy it, how much did you gain? most likely you will destroy only one unit (unless the opponent is realy dumb and cant see whats coming so he has 2-3 units close together) so you traded one for one, not quite the ultimate result. sometimes trading one for one is good (i.e. i believe its worth trading short range unit to destroy a long range unit) but again this outcome is not likely to happen (most likely your assassin will die before you can use it)
if instead of an almost dead assassin you put a frosty you get supriour defense since it has similar "wait for the incoming knight" idea but one blow wont kill it and its not a one time use
Znip.
hats this talk about "gaurding" your cleric, the game shouldent last long eough for them to be able to get your cleric, unless your playing a bomb, which is pointless to gaurd agenst anyway

I have. Wolfman used an excellent setup with a stoned assassin, muddy and scouts. He sent the assassin against me, and using a cunning combination of healing, I simply couldn't kill it. Meanwhile, while I was trying to kill the assassin without priming the ass bomb (which would have killed my armored dragon) he sent up the scouts and mud to eat my turtle. Sheer brilliance.
Unfortunately, he messed up with his scouts and got them killed. But the principle was sound :)

On the assassin/BW self kill:
Ok, let's count turns:
1.) Pyro burn the assassin
2.) knight hit the assassin
3.) BW the assassin
At this point your opponent has had three turns to develop, AND you're down a BW and assassin until you blow her up.
wolfy, I like the stoned assassin idea

OS, we should try it in rev sometime.... a stoned assassin is very different from a unstone one.... basically.... it becomes so deadly when close range n opponent just hv to think so much just in case not to turn her into a bomb.... not forgetting his super blocks against the scouts :p
