View Full Version : Just a thought
The "Lightning Ward" is a really good unit, but I thought it could use a special attack. I had an Idea for one.
Self Destruct: It happens when the Lightning Ward hits it self, then an explosion of electricity does heavy damage to the surrounding area.

Special attacks are for units that are underpowered. With the highest attack power out of all grey and gold units, I hardly think that is the case.
Well if you judge attack power as the sole indicator of overpowered, then your probably right; yes it blocks from all sides and has a 30 attack power, but it's not the best unit, it can't move, it has average rang, it's charging time is unbearably slow, and it only hits one target. Besides if special attacks are only for under powered units then why does the assassin have one? The Assassin is one of the best units, Great movement and blocking, good HP, average recharge and a descent attack power, but can attack four units at once, now that’s a great character. Though the Mud Golem is under powered with out its special attack, the Assassin is clearly not.

If they're so good, explain why assassins were hardly ever used before the kamikaze attack was added?
i havent palyed a grey with an asassin in ages even with the Kamakazie (sp?)
Definitely odd, but statistically, there still a good unit.

Not really.
Low HP, low damage, poor range, lowish blocking, low armor.
What's good about her?

statistically a good unit?
what exactly does that mean? I'm just curious as ur meaning is not obvious to me
assasin = good blocking, great movement and recovery, but low hp, low armor, and low dmg.
Its fast, but most ppl prefer other units over it. Plus the kamikaze is more an intimidation factor than actually useful.
LW on the other hand...highest damage, max blocking, good range, good hp, low armor.
to me at least, this sort of way of classifying the unit says that the LW doesn't need any extra help.

mega, the assassin really doesn't have that good blocking.... while it's higher than most other units, assassin has to actually go next to other units to hit them, meaning she really needs to be able to block to live afterwards.
None of the assassins stats are really low, how ever I can see the argument that's it's not useful in some strategies, I use a defensive strategy so I rarely use the assassin, but if needed a fully offensive charging team I would put the assassin in it.

none of its stats are really low..but nothing except movement and recovery are worth mentioning.
and i gave it good blocking since it IS the 2'nd highest blocking rate for the mobile units.
I can see usin the assassin for a grey chrage maybe...but then again, I don't see a grey rush/charge workin in most instances.
Golds would prefer the muddy over the assassin.

mega, it has the second highest blocking, but for the only unit besides the knight that needs to be next to its target, the blocking really isn't all that good.

the blocking isnt really that good, yet it still seems to block from the side a lot more than 35% of the time....

i personally would take out my assassin for anything, the only problem is i have gone a whole month without witnessing a single drop...and her blocking is ok, but not a bragging point by any means..
ha golds jsut shoot it in the back with a scout, it cant bomb yet its low enought to take it out with a dragon
