That's a mighty fine list. Pyro_guy was one of my mentors when I joined up and truly evolved my game personally. I'd also like to add Ratcage (still in netjak on legends)... He was one of my favorite golds when I first started playing in Dec 03..

Bloody hell Wayf, did you not notice how I didn't vote for myself? Can't you get over your ego for just one second? FryLock and Rantzu are the only ones who've really mastered both styles of play (rush and turtle), and I voted for Fry because I feel he has the most representative rating (Rantzu plays a heck of a lot for his rating, but Fry just plays good players and never loses).

For those of you who say to include Kwarrior, Ozmaj85, Akr884, Rescorlian, Sakeboose, Mysterious Wanderer etc., I chose only people who have been top of the rankings on Banff since the days when the top score reached 1400, and that are Banff players ONLY and don't play on other servers (except Rev and Legends, which don't count).

If I'm in a non-clan, gold vs. gold game, I'm in it to win it, unless I know for a fact that my opponent is so inept that I can win while not paying attention (e.g., they have a LW in the back and a stony in the front :rolleyes: ). I always try to win. And I find it silly that you have to "try" to go all out. I mean, what, if you're NOT trying, do you make silly moves on purpose?

im with moose for several reasons

1) i generally dont 'try' either, unless im against what is clearly a decent opponent, i only put in as much effort as is required to win, but i always try to win (even when i used my amusing joke formation)
2) crap players could probably quite easily get high on the rankings if they played 24/7, whereas a decent player might only be able to play 1 match a day or so, and so not get very far on rankings.
3) bottles massive ego annoys me :p

Not just the furgy, search, I think I'm certainly Banff's best all-round turtler, grey or gold. Fry is undoubtably the best all-rounder, especially rushes. Rantzu is... well, rantzu just plays a lot and never loses :)

She started on GL, because it was the only server at the time. The when Banff opened, moved there. She played until mid-December, which was when she was in her prime. She was frigging insane. She barely ever talked. I remember she was the first person I played, she flawlessed me. I came back around two months later (A short while after she announced her leaving), and by then I was considered one of the best in game. My setup was perfect against hers, and she still owned me.

The difference between you and I are easy. I've been around just as long as you, but you are popular and I am infamous.

You pick and choose your games so people automatically think it's an "honour" to play you... You are also truly kind.

I, on the other hand, will play anyone anytime no matter what their stats or status is. I also talk shit, and don't give a crap about anyone.
