This clan is active on all servers. It welcomes all members not part of another clan. We have one main purpose: Destroy elitism in all its forms.

I'm not dissing your website. I'm glad that xyx actually attempted and completed his own website without using an editor, which is good stuff. All I was saying was that it was a little bit of an anticlinax when I saw the site since your clan had sounded so tremendous in the thread. It was a compliment. Spreading the word is one of the keys to greatness, and with that huge thread, new people come in, see the biggest thread in the forum, and think "I gotta get into the biggest clan." you'll be topnotch. I don't want an enemy of you or xyx.

You're right, there wasn't much in this thread to make it worth going this long, other than to show our value as a clan. Because before the web site, this is all we had. But most of the thread is just idle talk. Twice it's been used as a real time chat. Around 30 posts are about Soya sauce. :) There are some good moments, but overall, it only kept going because it's ours. :)

We're not enemies, we're friendly rivals. :)

xyxaxyz2- We're not elitist. We just like to have a little bit of selectivity and we like having forums for members only. Some of our forums are open to the public.

Renegade- I looked at your site, it's not bad. A word of advice between two webmasters, though: don't use 14+ Helvetica or Tahoma on a site unless you use it very carefully. If you want a sans-serif, you should go with Century Gothic (my preference right now) or with Optima or Gill Sans Light. Something that isn't as trite as Helvetica. If you make the text a little smaller, your site is pretty good. The content is great, of course, I'm just offering a few design tips.

*edit- If I really tried, and had better graphics than the few I can scrounge from various areas, and more content to work with, yes, I could make a better website (in case some hotshot webmaster says "Your KOTR website sucks, I use my 1337 skillz to make brilliant masterpeices" I'm sensitive to that kind of thing (also sensitive to toothpaste and really large rocks) :)

Thank you. Hopefully i'll be able to get loading times down. The homepage is all flash, but its just a placeholder so that'll have to change to mostly html, which should make the home load faster. I have kind of an addiction to Flash MX, so I use it more often then I should, since I've been sucking on it's teat of brilliance for so long I've frown accustomed to using it for everything :)

To xyxaxyz2: Um, well, there are quite a few, so I'll list some things that you could improve upon:

1. The pirates- The pirates are not yours, and so do not really meld onto the page. They don't fit in with the buttons and text. Also, despite its popularity, two graphics are not as visually appealing as an asymettrically balanced larger image.

2. The buttons- First there is the fact that they don't work :p that could be improved. You might also want to create a navigation bar with all the links you want to put on the site. It doesn't matter if they work or not, you're trying to create a graphical layout in the beginning of a website's creation. Complex animations are not needed and are in fact not wanted, it draws the eyes away from the key aspects of the page. A simple rollover is usually sufficient.

3. The list- You've got the info there, but it's a little bit ugly. You should make the text larger, don't center everything, and don't under any circumstances use Times New Roman, Tahoma, or Arial unless you have to. They are trite, overused fonts, and require careful thinking about their placement. Check around the web for info about people's favorite fonts, mine is Century Gothic at the moment.

I hope this helped. I hope your clan becomes great. It would be terrible if we were stuck with just the Klear Channel Klan to fight :p

I just crushed Killer_kev- true, his only superior forces were his double scouts, but he surrendered with only 2 knights and 1 scout and i had about half my troops left. Though I did get a lot of good luck.
