While in a battle on my grey, I noticed that the Barrier could also be used for offensive use and not just for defense. (I know people already know what happens when you BW a unit but bear with me...) When you BW a unit, that unit cannot be touched until the focus of the BW is removed. You can't heal that unit either. Say you are up against a guy with a scout, 2 knights and a cleric. The knights and scout have taken a beating. The nearest unit to you in the scout, and it has 17HP left. You know the person you are playing wants to heal and badly.... you BW the scout (only works if the unit has to wait and can't move on the next turn). So now the player has a tough choice, wait to heal so he can heal the scout, or heal now and hope for luck. Say the person healed. You now have 3 or 5 turns to try and take out the scout with another unit instead of trying to hit the scout twice (cuz we all know blocking is a factor here also).
So there you have it, BW, not just defense, it's a rare occurrence when you may need this, but it is good to know. Sorry if there was a thread already created about this, didn't feel like looking.
