Clan stuff getting out of hand

I just saw a thread where a guy was suggesting starting a clan, and in the middle, somebody else comes in and starts their own clan.
Even more, the clan has rules that exclude the first guy who tried to start his own clan.

One person clans, people hijacking clan threads. This is getting weird. :)

It's best left unregulated. If someone starts a clan, people join, then they boot him out, then that may be sad but such is life.

I realize that.
I don't think clans should or can be regulated.

But it's just getting out of control when somebody has their thread hijacked, there's several one person clans, and who knows what else is going on.

On the other hand; Out of control = hilarious :)

As long as it doesn't descend into spam.

I havn't seen any clans make any headway yet

what I would consider a cool clan is if everyone used the same avatar, same color and payed on the same floor of a server.

Now that would look cool, kinda like a uniform.

Now why didn't we think of that? We want clan symbols, we could just use an avatar. :)

Do you think it could eventually be set up so that we can use our clan symbols in the game?

Playing on the same floor is a good idea. But then we wouldn't get to play other clans, just each other. And besides, we can't hold down one floor, we have to expand our power base. :D

I've proposed that all KOTR play with a gold knight but I haven't heard back from the members to see if they'll go for it. I'd like to invite everyone to check out our clan site and post a hello in our forum. :)
