it got disconned twice and i lost twice cuz it was 9-8 and 8-8 and i sacrafise my wisp and bushy i lost a total of 18 pts one i gained a stat second lost 19

Okay, this is the last time I will say it. ITS NOT GL, ITS YOU. Notice everyone doesn't have this problem, you just have a horrible ISP. End of story.

If you took quicker turns your opponent would be the one losing stats :cool:

i have got high-speed comcast cable but now i dont care bout stat loss but i want to know what happened, because it happened to everyone.

no its not it was a mass thing and comcast hasn't screwd me up it was full server diconnects.

Its comcast and your hub, hub is determined by your city. Hub has a bad route, loss of packets.

no it happened again but to all servers yesterday, its not me not everyone uses comcast.

When it is server wide then obviously its not your problem, however if you both disconnect isnt it a draw?

Heh, thats not how I recall it happening to me. However its been awhile. Still though, server wide dcs won't happen much.

server wide DC's happen simultaneously (according to the server) so the match is a draw. I can say this with certainty as server crashes used to be a frequest problem. Though I havn't been on for a server crash in some time.

Its still not much consolation if your a 1400+ rank player who got jumped by some lowbie.

Worst case I ever had happen...in 1 hr, I was playing, got dc'd in server crash, lost 11 pts then. Was playing, had it happen AGAIN, another 11. Then, later in the day, the wireless lan I was playing on crashed, costing me 30 more pts. This was back when 1400 was where the highest plyers were really at, so 50 pts when I was at about 1300 took a while to make up.

Not true, i've been through 3 serverwide D/Cs in the past month, all 3 resulted in my loss.

as in start: me 1650ish, my opponent 1300ish... then i lose 15 and he/she gains 20

Sometimes on a server wide DC, all them arn't disconnected at the same time. If all are disconnected at the same time, it will result in a draw.

heh moron yes everyone on GL got kicked off it happened like a few weeks ago two knights in a row around mid night eastern. I lost 40 points total off of 2-3 games getting d/c'd so get your facts straight

i got kicked off my last 2 matchs.....and it's pissin me off...i've lost alot of stats. The thing is i'm the only one gettin kicked...you could say ISP...BUT i was at school playing a kid right next to me...and he wasn't kicked off..therefore it isn't my ISP it's GL!

Actually, GL has more DC problems than Banff or Army. I can be on all three, and GL dc's most.

it seems to happen about 11pm moutain time every night i'm up that late and half the time it crashes my internet explorer, i also have cable

sometimes it is your connection and sometimes it is the server. I am on a college ethernet so it's definitely not my connection when i get d/c. complaining about this is about as useful as complaining about blocking flukes.

If it is crashing your explorer and such, and on a regular schedule (I am often on at that time) then it is your ISP. They probably rotate the IP's on a regular schedule.

My advice is to noe be in a game at 11 o'clock.

I live at a college who's internet is fast, but for some reason (probably the countless firewalls), it makes TAO so laggy that it not only takes 10 miniuts to log onto the server, it also automatically kicks me off after bout 5 miniuts or so and has about a 5 second delay if I say anything.

Of course I'm not complaining because I know it's not TAO's fault.

first of all, its because u r grey. greys get logged off after 5 minutes or so. and also have a 8 second time delay after each typing.

First of all, Freezing is only half right - I WAS gold until I canceled for this very reason (because I can't play). Of course, I havn't played since going grey because I can't. (no way you could have known that, Freezing)
Secondly, had you bothered to check out the date I joined, you would have noticed that I was here an entire year before you were, and could have deduced that I know what I'm talking about, and did not simply confuse my problem with grey limitations.

And Dirka? It's not nice to back-talk a mod. I hear they don't like it very much...
At the very least don't be so rude to them.
