golds fighting greys and not golds!?!?!?!?(this sould help alittle)

Ok, my sever is on army, but this is happening to almost every sever.Well as you all know, there has been a increase in golds as of late,but theres only 1 problem with them,when you ask them to play they always say NO then they turn around and play a grey(quit sad if you ask me.)But when they actually play you, when your winning they say, "I suck at this game" Well theres only one way for a gold to get better and thats not playing greys.(playing really good golds help out alot for me also)

Like I have always said, even if you dont think you can beat a gold, play them anyways, look at how there playing and learn from that.Also theres alot of golds that just talk on the severs(why?)I mean I can understand if your trying to talk to someone for alittle while but all day O_o.So whats the point in paying 5 dollars a month if you just going to sit and talk and not play?

Something else I have seen, people are always saying I cant find a good set(setup)well you souldnt half to, its not how the set(setup)is its the way you play no setup makes a diffrence in how you play.

Here is some tips that I have for golds(greys)

1.Always make sure that all units are in a good postion that you fell that can be put to good use.

2.NEVER, EVER give up in a match, so what if you are loseing, stay there and see how the person is doing things, like how he moves how to protect other units and such.

3.This is for golds, if you dont use a dragon the best way to do things is spread all your units out and make sure atleast 2 units are protecting the cleric in some way or another.

4.this is for both grey and gold.If you are playing someone with 2 clerics(or stone golem) never rush them becuase you will do little damage and they could just heal it very easily.Best thing to do if you are playing 2 clerics(stone golem) is to let them come to you and when you can get a shot with your scout to kill 2 clerics(or shoot stone golem to lower the 30+ armor)After this is done run back to a safe positon that you know you can cover your scout so he wont die.Or you could just kill 1 unit at a time whatever you think is the best for that situation.

And yes, golds playing greys is a bit of a trouble. All of your points and tips are good advice, except I think that gold vs. grey isn't too bad. Because of the stat differences (usually) I think the gold gets a fun time and the grey gets some decent experience. And if the stats aren't that different then odds are the grey won't turn down a gold. I like it when golds jump me on Banff... I think top greys on that server are better than *most* golds. Of course there are the excellent golds, the real top guys, but there are a heaping mass of g00bs as I like to call gold n00bs.

I'm not too upset if a gold jumps me because I almost understand in some cases.

I love fighting golds. I hate being jumped by them, since I like the knowledge that I challenged them. If you're Gold, do other golds a favor and fight them when they request. Either you'll win, or you'll lose. If you lose, you'll either go back to fighting greys and then become the "free stat" gold for the better golds, or you'll keep fighting golds and you'll get better.

If you do the latter and then the former, respectively (lose and fight greys), then you need to get whipped by a grey to see how it's done. If you're on GL, I can even give you a good hit list.

I drag it out a s long as possible without stalling, because I hate grey jumpers. Then I challenge them to a game on rev, after giving them a lesson in manners; "you grey jumper, I bet you cant beat a real gold... etc..."

everday i'm on great lakes i have ask ever gold to a game they say no i'm doing something then 30 sec later there in battle with a grey. who cares if u can beat a grey u have alot more units then they do and it is not fair for the grey. i think they only battle greys just to get more stats fast and get a higher rating, stats dosen't mean anything anymore how good the player is, is how good they can battle and who they have beat so if u think u your one of the best player battling little greys noobs then u got another coming to u.

hey vash so true. There are maybe 5-6 golds on my server who actually like to play and accept challanges, but ive seen many either jumping greys or boosting and never accepting challanges, then there are those that feel they should restrict how the game is palyed but thats a hole other story

Sadly I'm tired of fighting golds. A great percent of them just stick an ambusher right up front with some scout's for backup and then it's you rushing because you have no cleric while they have 2. I know I'm not the best gold, but i'm not learning from people relying on luck. So i'll just put my avatar down and let whoever wants to jump me jump me until I can find a good game from somone.

Well, i agree with most statements made so far. But, it was said that grey jumpers just jump greys to boost stats, i find that not true for some, but true for most. I, for instance, jumped greys my first day as a gold, because i didnt know how to use the units and wanted to get a feel for them befor i took on a serios challenge. Now i will play any gold who challenges me.
As for the enchantress thing, i say good luck. If they were greys themselves for a good amount of time then they will easily be able to dodge your chanty, especially with their double scout.

quite frankly, this annoys the shit out of me, im winning by 7 units, he has like a pyro, a cleric and a knight left, all at little heath, then, you guessed it i get d/c'ed :dry: it is my computers fault, but id really rather it if people realized they lsot, and admit defeat
