This is a "library" of trick shots you can do with your scout that can get past supposedly "defensive" formations.
If you have a contribution, please give it the next number and a unique name.
Let's assume that your target is up and to the right. This is the reference position, which can just be rotated to get the other four positions.
It turns out that there are only NINE unique types of shots. They were discovered by Dunbar. In these diagrams S stands for Scout, T for Target, O for an empty square and X for an occupied square:
O T
O X O T
O O O X O T
O O O O O X O T
X O X O X O O O O T
S O S O S O S O S O
O O T
O O O O O T
O X O O X O O O T
O O O O X O O X O
S O O S O O S O O
O O O T
O O X O
O X O O
S O O O
Because the computer program that runs Scouts does not do any trigonometry but merely looks up the situation in a table like this and checks for blocks, a number of "trick shots" are allowed which LOOK like they won't work. The library of these shots follows. The normal code applies. "Z" stands for a shot AIMED at point Z which will then hit target, T. Variations of these shots will easily suggest themselves.
1. The Cross Shot

2. The Overshoot - Shooting Past

3. The Overshoot - Shooting Through A Wall
